Here is video of how the Tomorrowland Speedway looked in 1981 when it was called the Grand Prix Raceway. Almost the complete ride - batteries went out very quickly in video cameras back then. Filmed in March 1981 with a Magnovox video camera/ VCR combo.

I just found this thanks to your page 😀.I was just talking to my daughter about our plans for DW next week and said we have to go on the Grand Prix Raceway,she said I think it's just called Tomorrowland Speedway now so I had to look it up.I was raised in Florida and I'm the same age as MK so have been going for years and somehow I just never accepted the name change I guess.

What a difference in 40 years. How slim and trim everybody looked. All you see now is fat people on scooters.
