Thank you for the English translation. Choi Soo Jung is not only Emperor of the Sea but also of historical dramas. He reportedly had a dictionary readily available to pronounce historical words accurately. He is famous for his romantic gestures towards his wife, and love for his family. Met him once on a historical set, and in perfect English he thanked me for a gift to his drama wife. I remember him in a non-historical drama called First Love and have been a fan ever since.

oh my god, the same to me. I were 10 years old girl when I watched The Drama First love which he starred with Bae Yong Joon. I become his big fan from that Drama. His acting is deeply amazing. I realize that he is as old as my father😂.

What happen to Song II-Kook of Jumong? He played A villain role in Emperor of the Sea and played jumong as main character role ? I think he deserved also to receive an award aside choi soo-jong

Song Il Kook has devoted a lot of his efforts to raising his triplet sons and been in the musical 42nd Street. After Jumong, SIK was also in the historical drama Kingdom of the Wind. I was able to watch him doing repeat takes from different angles on a cold film set for Kingdom of the Wind. I have been a long term fan of not only his acting. SIK respects the large body of historical dramas that Choi Soo Jong has acted in.

Choi soo Jong does not deserve the grand prize. The show barely started and he's already winner. There's so much to see whether he's deserved it. He probably got it because he's popular and he's won the prize before. This is so rigged. It's not based on best performance but popularity and precedence.
