Hello Guy, let me just say that I am 71 and have been a clock and watch lover off and on for most of my life. My present watches include Omegas, Tudors, etc. I recently purchased for the first time in my life a GS. It is the sbgm221 and when I received it from Exquisite and opened the box the fit and finish stunned me. This GS is not my most expensive piece but I consider it my grail watch because of its comfort and finish. My wife is accustomed to my wearing many different watches but when she saw me wearing the GS for the first time she was very impressed. I have read that GSs finish is on par with the holy trinity which I have no reason to doubt. Ast night I realized something that has never happened before in all my years. The sbga211 has completely satisfied my desire for another watch. I for the first time feel that my collection is complete and that is good because I am running out of time😮. Anyway, sorry for the long winded comment.

I just bought this watch and it looks even more amazing in person and under natural light... and I love that it's a 100% mechanical watch, like my Rolexes..

Grand seiko is a world class company. Seiko is what Rolex was for the first 60 years. A reliable tool watch .

Grand Seiko's timepiece finishing is on another level. Great photography Guy. Really nice lighting and presentation.

I also got one of the four seasons Grand Seikos (Kanro). I just love what they did with this entire collection. I just went for the spring drive option with 100m water resistance instead.

Starting at 3:39, you can see the frame of the date window reflecting the underside of the minute hand, which is reflecting the dial surface. Wow!

Another stunning GS . If GS used a similar clasp to glashutte original they would complete the perfection of their pieces.

The quick set hour jump is such a nice feature…!

No watch can probably compare with the precision and elegance of a Grand Seiko, simply put they are beyond compare.!

This dial is very sharp, probably too sharp to my taste. No doubt still a good addition for GS lineup.

Gorgeous dial. Could you do a review of the new Seamaster 300 Heritage in blue, please? (The time-only, vintage-inspired 41mm).

They need to introduce less dressy hand and hour markers to these styles of watches and lume oh and a micro adjusting clasp.

Hi Guy, great watch from GS as usual but GS still dragging there feet in the braclet and clasp department.

Wish this was 10bar at least... Getting caught in a rainstorm at 70mph on a motorcycle and being drenched... Idk about that splash resistant stuff.

I’m sure they are nice as hell, but I’ve never warmed up to Grand Seiko. I could never spend that much on a watch given Seikos can be bought at Wal Mart.

I watch your channel quite a bit. I see that you don’t care for the seiko 4r & Nh36. What don’t you like. I’m finding out that they don’t really regulate them from the factory. I have several watches what does Movement in them and the consistency of accuracy is all over the place mostly for the bad . I have 3 that are all between minus 20-25 seconds a day. Terrible . Very Disappointing. Especially when one of them is a SanMartin the rest of the watch is great except for that lousy movement
