I bought SBGJ237 2weeks ago, and it comes one of my most favorite one in my collection. The most valuable point is fantastic rotatable bezel, dark blue/white in dark area, and bright blue/white under the sunshine.
i know im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.
Both are great timepieces and excellent examples of fine watcmaking though! If we are talking about the ''Made in Japan'' thing, we are most definetely talking about the ''perfection'' also whatever the product is! I don't know any other person did realize but, SBGJ237 dial and the marks looks more clear and better polished! Although i love the size of SBGE255 and the ''Spring Drive'' movement, the lack of ''frame'' on the date zone on SBGE255 and the dial's exclusive look on SBGJ237 captures me more! If u really look on the dial and the hour markers in detail, i think you'll notice what i mean. My heart goes with SBGE255 but my mind goes with SBGJ237 actually. No need to mention the great high beat eye-catching movement of SBGJ237 as well!
But why does it have to be so thick? It's thicker than most chronographs. I'd gladly sacrifice 100m of its water resistance for it to be the same thickness as the Rolex GMT.
Wonderful video Chris, the SBGE255 is a stunning timepiece. I am currently looking around to purchase this model at the right price. You have really sold me on it with the original review video. 😷🇨🇦
I prefer the "Blue Jay". That rotating sapphire bezel is gorgeous... What is the point of the numbers on the non-rotating bezel on the E spring drive??? At this price point, it should rotate to track a third time zone.
I love this review....wait! I hate it because now I want to buy both! 🤦🏽♂️ Excellent information, awesome close ups! I was not a fan of 237 but after this video, I have come to appreciate its understated bling factor! Thank you
Micro adjustment on the bracelet! When did GS slide that in?? The watch community have been begging for this. It’s almost bigger news than the watches.
Hi Martin, thanks for the comment! I saw that you mentioned this issue in the sbge255 video as well. I encourage you to go back and compare the 255 they had to maybe a 257 or 253 to determine if that piece had an issue that needs to be fixed. We haven't seen what you are taking about with any pieces in our store. Also are you saying the 237 that you saw was the same way in person?
If GS gets serious with their “wrist on feel” by reworking their bracelet, GS can convince most of us Rolex buyers to consider buying them. Make the bracelet tapered and have gliding microadjustments. Also, please make your watches at least 2 mm thinner!
Dive watch depth ratings are such useless stats for 99% of watch buyers, including divers. How many divers go deeper than 50 meters/150 ft? 500 meters is 5 football fields or 1/2 km. What percentage go down that far and would they were a metal watchband? Zero. A deep see diver will wear a special watch with a rubber strap.
Might be a good review but the presentation is terrible, if u are gonna read the script instead of the camera, might as well just don't show your face, no one cares how you look on a watch channel anyway
