I live in the UK but have hiked in a few of your national parks. I love your programmes! You show great respect for the landscape, the wildlife, the history, and each other! I hope your country looks after these places. We do have national parks here, and they’re great, but there’s nothing like the southwest USA! I’ve hiked Canyonlands, Arches, Grand Tetons, and a few others. I know I’ll never get back to the USA, but at least I can experience the beauty via your super films. Than you so much.

Today Joe Biden became the President Elect of the United States. Encourage your legislators to push President Biden to restore Grand Staircase and Bears Ears to their original boundaries as established by President Obama for Bears Ears and President Clinton for the Grand Staircase, This program does a pretty good job of explaining why these National Monuments are so important to us and to the Native peoples who have always lived here. It would be essential to have the five native nations joined with the BLM and Forest Service to manage these lands to the benefit of us all.

Thanks so much for all of this. This is one of my two favorite places in the 48. The other one ive explored extensively; so this is soon to be roamed....... (just got a book of Everett Ruess's life/writings.. you know of him? He was a wanderlust, young man, explorer, artist who vanished in these specific parts when he was Twenty and never found. Amazing spark this young man was/is....) keep on..

Utah has so many beautiful, natural places to visit and take on as an adventure. I wasn't aware of so many! I hope these places stay the way they are as national monuments and parks, etc. The government needs to leave these awesome sights alone.

Tarantulas of this species can live to over 20 years. I have only seen one juvenile in my lifetime of exploring, that was the size of a quarter and looked and moved exactly like the parent. Neat Spiders to say the least.

That was a "hairy situation" when saving a Tarantula. That would be a great Southwest beer name: Tarantula Canyon Beer

This is so cool. Can not wait until my kids are old enough to experience some of the adventure you just shared with us. I am actually an elementary teacher and landforms is part of our curriculum. With this distance learning we were trying to figure out how to bring this amazing nature to life for the kids. Thank you for doing this. Kids LOVED your video.

We were never told the name. We just met our guide at the pre-determined location and he led us the rest of the way.
