All these voice actors for GTA protagonists complaining to Rockstar about being underpaid, yet Claude’s voice actor never got paid at ALL, and you don’t see HIM complaining

Claude is easily the most evil protagonist of all. He would backstab even his closest associate for just a buck and with no remorse, emotion, or reaction whatsoever. Even CJ was freaked out by Claude

Claude not speaking is a metaphor for the silent and murderous nature of the criminal underworld. He's the ultimate henchman, the guy who will take any dirty job without asking questions, and he'll never squeal to the cops regardless of anything that happens.

The fact Claude’s willing to do any job possible to get back at Catalina only proves how much of a badass he is. Started a massive gang war all over Liberty City and got away in the end.

What i like from Claude, is that he's a coldblood killer, his face has an accuarate expression of Emotionless.

Claude is somewhat of a rolemodel to me when it comes to being quiet and doing errands without saying anything. Niko Bellic is also my rolemodel to me when it comes to morals and sympathy for others.

He even scared CJ in San Andreas Toni Cipriani blew up Fort Staunton and chopped up Casa but he's a momma boy Trevor Phillips is crazy but he shows way to much emotion with his mom and friends Carl Johnson is afraid of swimming in the sea and getting slapped by a condom Tommy Vercetti would never kill a close ally for money Vic Vance is too "human" No hate, I like all the protagonists

Although he doesn’t speak, Claude actually shows emotion. Remember When Kenji Yelled at him? Claude backed away indicating he was shocked.

Claude is scary because he never even speaks and barely shows emotion. This makes very unpredictable because you never know what he can do to you.

Frank Tennpenny and Steve Haines would not be able to blackmail or push Claude around that much since Claude would not even care who they are and he wont really care of the consequences at all. To Claude, authority and position means nothing to him. Dimitri can easily manipulate Claude and betray him. But unlike Niko, Claude would not even respond to Dimitri's taunts and threats and Dimitri dosent have anything to threaten Claude with. Claude would just remain emotionless and not care at all. Devin Weston can trick Claude or rip him off out of a payment, but Claude dosent care and will not care about his connections. The fact that Claude has nothing to lose and the fact there isnt anything to threaten him with means Claude dosent have to hold back at all. If Claude is after you, he will not stop and you cant really negotiate or get into his head at all. Claude is one dangerous, silent, emotionless killer that you don't want to have after you.

People always associate the GTA 3D era with CJ or Tommy but in reality it’s Claude who was their original successor PS I don’t get why people overthink Claude killing maria at the end. It’s Claude ... of course he did man. He’s the most Dark character of all the GTAs including HD era. Claude was so scary that even CJ was scared of his presence. He isn’t a character that you can read. The dude is a mute at heart and mind. He’s cold that you can even describe it even playing the game a bunch of times

Claude's voice actor is amazing

It's a shame that Claude possibly killed Maria because she actually seemed to care about him, but I guess that just shows off Claude's cold blooded and vindictive nature.

It's weird cluade is considered the most evil protagonist mostly just because he doesn't talk and takes whatever orders but that's literally your gta 5 online character. Only difference is cliade has a story instead of random missions from random people in the gta world that don't like each other like selling your own meth while doing heist for TP interprizes.

They should really bring Claude back for a future GTA as a playable protagonist

I think a lot of people get Claude's character wrong. All we really have to do is look at his past and see what deck of shitty cards his life has played him. He lost his garage in SA to CJ and him and his girlfriend Catalina went on a crime spree for 9 years. Out of nowhere she betrays him leaves him for dead and he gets hit with a 10 year prison sentence. Out of pure luck a police transport carrying Claude, 8 ball and the old dude is ambushed and Claude and 8 ball find their own ways around Portland. Claude is angry and sad; probably coping with the stages of grief throughout the game. He really did love Catalina it seemed from how he acted towards her in SA but love can turn to hatred very quickly. In the end I think as he saw Catalinas helicopter go down he wished he had done it sooner. He killed Maria because of his past issues with women and he probably blames her and Catalina for all of his troubles. Which he wouldn't be wrong for. He does any type of job for the right type of pay because he realized something after the love of his life left him for dead. Everybody's got a second motive and when they get the chance to enact it, they will. So betray them all before they betray you; is how Claude sees it. Probably. Emotionless is the wrong word for Claude, I think maybe stoic would be better.

Claude is a fucking hero! Killed off all the wicked people in Liberty City and ruined all deadly gangs who were terrorizing the city all by himself. He got revenge on his evil ex and disappeared into the dark like a true unsung hero.

The Joker would be terrified of Claude than any other GTA character if Claude is the one who corners him in a dark alley. There would be no punchline and it wont be funny because Claude would just be emotionless and that there is nothing the Joker can take from him. To Claude, the Joker is just someone who is in his way nothing more.

I don't think Claude is emotionless. He killed Kenji and Salvatore because they were assholes and hated him. He likes Ray and probably sort of likes Maria too. He definitely isn't as evil as people make him out to be.

Its my personal theory but I think claude is mute because Chatelina destroyed his vocal cords, You see in the biggining when she shoots him it looks like he is shot in the throt. So that might explain why he is mute throught all gta 3, Yes I belive he is a pure psyhopath like Postal dude(Just without the funny).
