There are a million stories in Liberty City. This one changes everything. Once a trusted wise guy in the Leone crime family, Toni Cipriani was forced into hiding after killing a made man. Now he's back and it's time for things to be put right.
The streets of Liberty City are in turmoil. Warring mafiosi vie for control as the town begins to self-destruct under waves of political corruption, organized crime, drug trafficking and union strikes. No one can be trusted as Toni tries to clean up the mess of the city's chaotic underworld. Deranged hit men, morally depraved tycoons, cynical politicians and his own mother stand in his way as Toni tries to bring the city under Leone control.
Forced to fight for his life in an odyssey that will shake Liberty City to its foundations, Toni must use any means necessary to secure his place in the leadership of the Leone family in a town up for grabs.

+Mad Stárek GTA advance means restrospect. Maybe had importance by the history, but in the freedoms, graphics, gameplay, etc, was a crap. LCS unfortunately, had limits in the gameplay and we need remember than GTA III 2001 and LCS 1998. So, many absent stuffs in GTA III like the motorcycles, venues, etc, can't be in LCS.

I remember when I was a kid, I got my cousin's PSP to play as a hand me down (he deleted every game MEMORY but didn't outright delete the games) I popped it up and saw it: gta Liberty City Stories. It blasted me with spine chilling music and I remember being ENTHRALLED by the trailer in the background showing Toni with a AK. I booted the old pop up, and as soon as I launched my first mission, it became a staple of my childhood. 2+hours a day ignoring homework to spend time on this masterpiece. Good memories, good memories indeed

The music gives me the chills too. At the end of the intro song it switches to just a snare drum beat. The kind soldiers march to. Toni Cipriani is a soldier too, but a different kind.

It's so much like the original GTA 3, the graphics, the vehicles, the characters, Luige's in it, Salvatore's in it, I prefer stories than the actaul GTA 3 game.

It´s a Sony contract, but I agree you. The game has port for mobile and was released 10 year ago. The contract, probly is finished. Sorry about my english :/

That's a hard question, they are both great! VCS has a lot more extra and more advanced features, but LCS is said to be longer by most people's standards. Depends what your into, both have great storylines, probably the only difference is that VCS is 80's Miami style while LCS is 90's New York style. But if you can, try and buy both, they are well worth it!

Both are equally brilliant, depends on your liking really. Frankly I like both. San Andreas is early 90's gangster, and Liberty City Stories is late 90's mobster.

Still the most underrated GTA of all time imo! My first played and favourite GTA of all time loved this game as a kid! Most people I knew hadn’t even heard of it and when I introduced it to them they loved it really wish they would remaster it but can’t see it happening :(( would love to see them remaster this vice city and san Andreas that’s the dream 😍

Well not necessarily. I mean GTA 5 has the best graphics and gameplay engine by far, there's no doubt about that. But in terms of story and all around awesomeness, games like VC and SA can match it.

not the one i was looking for (was looking for the one with the mobb deep song), but still i remember when i saw this on TV and when i bought it for the psp, it was 50 bucks for such a small disc but still worth the price. I had so much fun with it. good times good time....
