no, that was simply before the days when people started bullshitting about "dwindling differences between games and reality"... It was later, when everything became much more mainstream, that suddenly it was a threat to your company if you were to call things by their name. It's also sort of a disclaimer.. kind of like the "WARNING Product moves when used!" sign on a kick scooter.
I feel like they could use Cali and places like that, but I think it’s the actual content in the city that’s copyrighted. So like you wouldn’t see Rockford hills in Los Angeles, it would probably be out of place Just a theory
@@Bruh845 I don't think a copyright on cities exists like that. City names are public domain. The structures inside of it are protected, of course - but that doesn't matter here, since GTA cities are FAR from being actual replicas of their counterparts. By that logic, even making a painting of a city is "copyright infringement"... possibly even taking a picture with your camera.
It can’t happen because it’s outside America, rockstar won’t do games outside America (it happened in 1999 yes but today is 2022 and it will never happen, sorry to disappoint)
@@Itz-K41-d04ALSO ITS NOT 2022 ITS 2024 AND THE ELECTION IS JUST ABOUT TO HAPPEN AND TRUMPS HIGH IN THE POLLS SO PREPARE TO HAVE YOUR PRECIOUS HERO BIDEN BE DESTROYED
@@Gentlaman01 maybe. but the fact that it has a gta in london makes it all the more amazing, i hope rockstar does it again in tokyo or london too again
i would love if Rrockstar remastered this game not really change it but update it for compatibility with newer devices like Pc Playstation 4/5 and Xbox maybe even the switch if nintendo wanted to (also improved graphics)
