I do too. As a person who still plays GTA IV along with all its DLCS, this trailer is amazing. It captures the vast world of Libery City in such a creative way. It never fails to give me chills. It is such a shame when this trailer was made, Rockstar actually cared about their games. Now, Rockstar just milks GTA V, ruins great games and does not care about their players. GTA IV is without a doubt the *BEST* GTA game ever made!
I think this trailer is kind of an hidden message to understand. Every times when Niko changes his clothes, he comes back to his elder outfit, maybe it would say that despite Niko tries to change anything, his past is always behind him, ready to catch him again, and again...
Yeah, that's why I am so damn eager to play GTA 4, it has the best storyline for sure. (Fun fact: Niko is on the 13th place of the Guinness World record's top 50 best video game characters, while CJ is on 24th place or something) he is the only GTA protagonist who hates the criminal life, he and Vic Vance.
@@aielane5537I don't think CJ ever hated the criminal life. I think it was more that he wanted to make something of himself even within that life but Sweet kept pulling him back into the ghetto and Grove Street and he hated that.
man… how time flies. a part of me cannot believe this is already 12 yrs ago and as crazy as it sounds this decade it will turn 20 😮🥺. now i am 27 and still VERY connected (also psychologically) to like my late teens and such. to think that like my parents will be 70 in 13/14 yrs is just unimaginable. kids, i‘m telling ya, life‘s conception will flip real fast in those 25-40s i guess.
Never has a game generated so much hype for me as GTAIV after seeing this ad. I will never forget how shocked I was at looking at a game that at the time seemed photorealistic to me (especially if you had been playing San Andreas prior to IV's release).
GTA IV is a masterpiece, the sense of atmosphere of Liberty City is so unmatched , you genuinely feel like you’re in a massive city, the world feels so alive, Niko Bellic is my favorite GTA protagonist, he’s got so much emotional depth, and the story was also really good, classic by Rockstar Games 👏👏👏👏
I'm so using this as part of a GTA video I'm making, it's a fantastic advert, one of the best for a game. Also, 360p vs 720p, the difference is absolute madness. The 720p video is only 15 megabytes to download as well, tiny.
This is the very advert that made me hyped as fuck for GTA IV as an 8 year old, I remember that year my parents got me my first 360 GTA IV bundle and fuck that was the start of the most beautiful gaming life.
best ad for a game I've ever seen. shows a bunch of locales and hints at just enough to make you wonder- then it ends with Niko performing an act of grand theft auto. perfect!
Honestly knew this was a instant classic end of 7th grade middle school when first seen this commercial honestly when I first realized rockstar is on another level
I remember seeing this advert for the first time during half time of a football/soccer game. I was absolutely hyped , my dad who isn't much of a gamer was impressed, made a comment and jokingly said that he was going to "pinch my 360 to play the game"
I don’t think kids these days understand the hype around this game as a veteran gta player this was massive back then and still now I get chill remembering how it felt just imagining how the story would go
This was when we knew gaming was going to be bigger than movies. COD 4 and Halo 3 had just come out and were known as the definitive installments of their franchises and then here came GTA 4. It still is in my opinion not only the definitive GTA but the definitive open world experience. Kids don’t know the the feeling and hype surrounding this game. Unreal.
