After saying goodbye to her grandparents from Jaipur, Annika was all ready to welcome another grandparent coming all the way from Finland. My mother, or 'mummi' to Annika, arrived to Mangalore airport one morning in early October. Mummi didn't know what that Annika and I were also coming along with Vinod to the airport to receive her. So it was a pleasant surprise for her when she saw her granddaughter at the airport! It was an emotional reunion after more than a year. We took the train back to Payyanur and finally reached home only late in the evening. Annika was super excited to see all the gifts mummi had brought from Finland.
