at 4:25 I have to disagree with you. even more in the corporate setup. a lot of the times you will be cycling through the same list as people go on and off stage. if you release the fixture every time, you get that nasty look of the fixture repositioning itself and applying a the gobo every time you go back to it. killing the intensity is the best way to do it IMO.

Depends on the show. If it's on off on off then yes releasing it is a dumb idea. Personally I split everything up Stage wash and lec are their own execs room look has walk in and show cue and video state is a temp. I am trying to avoid teaching bad habits for cur lists that get up over 10 cues where you are having to manually do MIB with mark cues for gobos etc

As for the re positioning we could solve that with a change of the MIB or a delay for position as well

How do I cancel editing? I went to edit a group but for some reason the edit window isn't showing up so I want to back out so I don't change something without knowing.

How would one do a multipart cue where certain fixtures have different fade/mib/etc attributes than the rest of the cue?

+nbd712 you could update the original cue and fade or delay parameters on a fixture basis via the delay and fade layer rather then creating a bunch of follow on .point cues

I have a question around minute 9:45, and trying to create cue 5. when i type in the command line, " copy executor 5 cue 2 at executor 5 cue 4" I get a pop up window with overwrite merge and not copy like the one you get. any ideas on what I may be missing?

How would you load multiple cues and then click Go to run all of the cues? I've tried a macro using the command, "load cue @" and when I select an executor and cue after hitting the macro it says loaded cue "cue name". When I click the Go- or Go+ buttons neither of them activate the cue? How should I go about doing this?

+Plasmatic try load cue x exec x load cue x exec x Go exec x + x And set the last load line as a go so when you tap the macro the first time it loads then the second tap fires it
