I've been doing a low diamond imitation of the build. Its definitely not a guaranteed win. Timing where Harstem hits is EXTREMELY important, otherwise you fall flat on your face really hard. Also, other thing that Harstem does correctly without thinking is focus-firing and killing enemy units in priority order. So despite the meming about how powerful the build is, there's A TON of finesse you need to pay attention to if you want to copy it.
What's giga funny is that this is not the first time Miszu gets salty in similar way. In fact 3mo ago he cursed Harstem for proxying and massing BCs, not just in game but also in dm. The title of that cheesiest man alive was also about him, "SALTIEST Terran HATES Battlecruiser Proxy." Poetic. edit: saw a comment saying "thought that miszu is a respectable player," looks like the those who didn't know him before this are getting a nice little prior
i'd want to see the replay just to see if anything sus happens, but who knows maybe they'd been getting cheesed and so they went and checked, who knows
@@ryanj610 I agree overall it was suspicious - but it's not 'wasting' anything - it's a single ling scout which I do all the time if I suspect a proxy.
Floating buildings is kind of the ultimate compliment. It's like your opponent is saying, "you beat me so badly that not only do I not want to play starcraft right now, but I also don't want you to be able to play either." It's like they are trying to protect the rest of the ladder from your overpowered strategies and gigantic brain.
The floating time waste eqation doesn't have to look like you have presented it. You could float building and go make yourself some tea in the meantime, so only your opponent is wasting time. Purely hypothetical reflections ofc, I would never do something like that. :D

GMWSS idea. You are focused on mental victories, if your opponent never builds a second base you have achieved your mental victory. You are also a well mannered player, as such you cannot go up the main base ramp of your opponent before 4 mins. (Flying units don't use the ramp so they are ok)
I did this build against Terran a couple of days ago after you originally showed this build on RU-vid. It works really well. Most of the time the opponents only have some marines and a cyclone which can’t stop the tank. There was one game I played where my opponent did have 2 tanks in Medivacs with marines but he flew through the middle of the map and my cyclones just sniped everything. This build doesn’t work against Zerg cause they get speed at around 3:30 but the push only hits at around 4/4:30. Even if they don’t scout it, they just pull back their queens first, make a round of lings and then swarm everything. Cyclones without speed don’t do very well against speedlings.
Star Trek was kinda like the alien thing you were talking about with some important distinctions. They would fark around until Spock figured it out and saved the day. He would usually wait until Kirk had time to get laid and break a few Starfleet rules and Scotty would eff around with the engines. They after Bones gets emotional and chews him out Spock just figures it out with 0.000001% tolerance, which he feels bad it wasn't perfect and calls it a guess, but saves the day none the less. And it never ruins the show. It was always great!
I won't lie. I have experimented with this exact build over the last few months and I find that it is very hard to work against terren who has a tank on the high ground of course, but it's very very easy to beat, specifically protos with when they expand on the bottom. But yes.. as far as cheese goes, double factory with one of the factories proxied is very very powerful if they don't scout properly
Ok Harstem i may not be a pro gamer but I am a pro griefer You're assuming the guy lifting isn't going for a smoke, going to get some food, whatever He's forcing you to play it out, he doesn't have to sit there. The best time griefs force your opponent to stay invested while you go take dump
The icing on the cake is that he hold-positioned his buildings in the dead space so you couldn't push to the cyclones with your vikings. Like he's really thought his temper tantrum through haha
Fun fact, Crash Bandicoot creators tried killing the series because they hated working under Sony. So they added Aliens to try and “jump the shark”, kinda like that Stephan King book. But fans loved crashes alien twist and had to keep making more lmao. They weren’t under Sony after that though so it all worked out.
@harstem when the plot of a story takes an unpredictable turn like the one you describe, it's called "deus ex." Deus Ex was also the name of a great FPS/RPG game.
Hm, for Protoss it is really hard to hold, even scouted or at least "scouted that there is no natural". Zerg as seen in Game 2, if scouted, the swarm will react. And Zergs will find you most of the time, if they dont see a natrural. But it is really difficult for me, to evaluate this vs. Terran. It seems to hit kind of a timing, but it should better be on point, and very important in deed, to bring the barracks.
That alien story /Steven King is called "Deus ex machina" - a device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem in a story is suddenly or abruptly resolved by an unexpected and unlikely occurrence of a god. It is annoying.
There was actually a show made for under the dome, i had enjoyed watching it for a while until literally the same thing, just felt different after that.
there should be a patch where if the terran has no scv's he no longer would be able to lift buildings, like having one scv on the grond for each building the want to lift, if there is not any scv they will burn really fast, that would help avoid the zvt when they got some bcs and destroy your spire and you only have ground stuff, just an idea
now imagine being a low diamond protoss player pushing your limits.. fending of liberator harass and mines and marine drops.. making your army.. and when you go to attack the terran he floats one Command Center to a corner and blinks the hidden Battle Cruisers to your base and kills it.. just imagine the pain....
You can proxy 2 tank marine reactored AA is the biggest issue... the change in cyclones sucks for this rush VS Terran and toss if they go immortals or get lucky blink and void ray

As far as lifting buildings is concerned, in the old wings of liberty days it was considered extremely disrespectful. As far as stephen king books are concerned... I too may not put ''under the dome'' at the top of my list either, even as a hard core stephen king reader, how ever, he has used aliens a few times in the past, such as stephen kings ''It'' (the clown) ''The Tommy Knockers'' (the towns folk who find the buried silver ufo disk that later mutate) ''Dream Catcher'' (mr grey infested jonesy and the ''ripley virus'' [Known to them selves as the byrus]) ''Insomnia'' (the creature that reveals its self to ralph on the plane) ''Cell'' (the original source of ''the pulse'' that hits the cell phones causing the fast psychic zombie apocalypse) ''The Dark Tower part 3'' (the pink fleshy tripod dragons that use 3 legs to walk across the lava in the trench) ''The Mist'' (the creatures are insinuated to be of another dimension of earth or perhaps even another reality or time line thus maybe not really ''super'' alien) and ''The Dark Tower Part 5'' (if you include the ''thinnies'' that used their tentacles to eat the entire calvary charge of farsons army as being ''alien'') and thus I don't think it is quite fair to judge his use of aliens since he does really like to use aliens. If someone would float his buildings against me, i would build one viking and occassionally hit one building to prevent the autodraw, while watching a movie. Two can play this game...

Harstem has not enough experience with floating your own buildings: You are not wasting your own time, because u just make 1 click to fly your buildings all over the map and then alt+tab to youtube and watch some harstem video for 5 minutes until u lost.
I was in a stalled out game for 8 hours because I wouldn’t gg out so the opponent wouldn’t kill me until I gg’d (I’m Zerg, not hiding buildings). It was a battle of pettiness and nobody won
it's painful that he is top 10 in europe but still moves his factory 4 miles out instead of changing the rally point to not get tanks stuck (the second game shows why that option is in the game )
with the modern dumbed-down version of a human and its amount of egoism i dont think there is any way that they can process the universe of other people not to mention their usage of time ... i mean literally every time when im driving there is a sheep infront of me going 60kmh instead of the allowed 100, whilst blocking the left lane (or similar). #weneedbetterteachers
