While I did greatly enjoy the video, I do believe Daniel naroditzky's videos are more instructive if you are an actual 800 rated player. Some of the concepts Aman showed in the video definitely feel more advanced to me (I am just ~1300 tho so don't take my word for it)

Fantastic both fun and informative. Here’s what makes you different - others will say “ok if he makes that move then I make this move”, but you say “ok if he makes that move then I make this move AND HERE’s WHY”. The WHY is the only way we really learn! Bravo!!

This series is a great service for humanity. I was thinking to study The London System and with your playlist i can see too many ways to play it. Thank you very much!
@kaugh

Speaking of "rage stalling", windows had a backgammon game where your opponent would be able to just not move their piece if they knew you would win in the next roll. Like no time limit. I remember going out to a movie, dinner, school and coming home sometimes to a held move. Some people could not handle the impact of a loss. They had a quick chat function where you could passive aggressively say, "your move" or like "hello" and you'd leave a message to see if they were still there after hours of delay and eventually some would reply which always made the game of chicken that much more intense. You could also do this right before your last move in a win too to be that much more bm. Good times.

I love the way how you teach the London system. Not just by reviewing old games from GMs like most of the videos I found prior to this. But actually playing and going through since the beginning. That’s the best way to learn openings. I cannot wait to try the London system and see other videos like this for other openings and defenses. Thanks!

Seeing the London being played many times over in actual games along with your instructions on how to handle black's replies has been amazingly helpful and hope to see more in the future! You've got a new subscriber man, thanks!

38:31 I would have never made the move Bg5, then trade for the knight on f6. I had it drilled into my head that a bishop for knight is a bad trade, so I wouldn't even consider it. The way you explained how pinning the knight on f6 is an indirect way of pressuring d5 and eventually winning the pawn was super helpful and very informative. Then the way you retreat back to avoid discover attack, comfortably up a pawn... chef's kiss my friend.
