I am not so sure that your comment about the diminishing language skills of elderly people is universally so very true. It is true for some individuals, which all have their own individual reasons for such development. Elderly people are a very diverse group. If one doesn't practice using some language, it starts to fade away. Understanding stays longer since if you just hear or read the language, as is so common with English.

Darkness is so merciful. You don't really notice dirty windows etc. But as the summer is approaching in spring all windows start to look as in need of cleaning as everything is revealed in harsh sunlight.

Windows shows everything plus the dust but greatful because the sun is here👌. Here in Lahti yesterday was the warmest day.
