This made me cry at the end. I miss my dad. Thank you for making this. I'm sure your grandson will cherish that apple puzzle as the biggest treasure ever. 🙏🏼
Quite how anyone can give this man's genius craftsmanship a thumbs down, is completely beyond any understanding. These people must be thicker than the posts he's using for building the bridge build with! He has the wisdom of Solomon and the patience of Jobe. That stool is absolutely stunning, and to think that it was 'hand made' is unbelievable. As for the bridge, I bet some so called 'carpenters' couldn't make that, even using power tools. This man has a truly wonderful gift and it is a pleasure to watch him exercising it. Well done, sir!
Its really hard to understand why ppl give dislike to RU-vidrs who spend hours of time just to make u happy and maybe earn some income, and its completely free to watch, i dont get it where did the hatred came from
I disagree if you make foolishness you should have the right to dislike the video. But this man is full of experience and knowledge that he is sharing freely why would you dislike that?
@@vadimprofi Руки у меня на месте. Но я не уверен, что смогу такое сделать такими примитивными инструментами. Даже не уверен на счёт современных инструментов. Если доживу до пенсии, то может и попытаюсь.
I love your works grandpa Amu. God blessed you with so much of skills. Please pass it to the next generation people it should continue for years. Live long healthy grandpa Amu. This is the love from India 🇮🇳 Tamil nadu. தமிழ் நாடு.
The old Chinese art and skills are amazing. I hope it would continue to pass on. My grandpa was skilled like this and he used to make all kinds of amazing stuff by hand. I wasn't able to learn them.
@@somnathbhowmick1212 The society had changed so much during the past a few decade in China. Industrialiation comes in replaced the self supply, self sufficient society. Fast factory brought toys replaced these time consuming, self made toys. These skills was not appreciated so much until today people realizing that generation is dying out. Also it is first time being considered art. With today's realization, I hope it would be learned purposely by the young generation.

Maybe just jealousy and some think higher about others until they must do the same job and found out that they can't do that same job. Many people like that.
I would love to have someone to teach me the kind of skills to do stuff like you do. It also makes me smile seeing you and your grandson together, you seem to have an amazing bond, it warms my heart. Seeing all the bad things that are happening all over the world on the news and stuff made me lose hope in humanity but seeing you and your grandson restores my hope for this world to get better for everyone. Thank you for your videos.
please allow me to translate for this guy. This woodcraft technique was created 2000 years ago by a master craftsman, Lu Ban, and grandpa Amu is a successor of this technique.
Man, it is a cool technique, though you gotta be clear about what the fact is ...There are No evidence proving it's an invention of Lu Ban. It's only a name given and localized by chinese culture doesn't mean it's a genuine fact....There aren't any archaeological artifacts and articles found in China about the burr puzzle(Lu Ban suo) can be older than 18th century. In other words, if Lu Ban did invent it from 2000 years ago, from generation to generation, there are must be tons of articles, artifacts, and antiques can be found over time.

@@hongweigeng5546 I look every of Liziqi's video. She is also great. But Grandpa Amu creates such great thinks with his limited resources. For that he is the best for me ;)
@@wizardknight6623 по моему скромному мнению, весь цимус ролика в том, что дед буквально на "коленке" делает прикольные вещи, который сможет не каждый.
I hope no one is leeching off of his work and pocketing most of the profits. Grandpa probably doesn't even know about youtube ads and all that. He has millions of views and with that kind of money one would think he'd be able to afford better equipment.
I am speechless,so awe-inspiring grandpa, your craftmanship makes me feel I only got a pea size of knowledge compared to your gigantic melon skills and knowledge...I even wondering when I reach your age if ever, and looking back, would love to see myself that I inspire many people by showing the skills and knowledge I got,but I guess it needs many years and experience to have what I wanted to be..You got a pure skills that cannot be taken by anyone yet can only be shared too..Keep sharing what you got Grandpa and thank you🙂.love from Philippines and UK
My father was an engineer. He made wooden furniture and toys almost thirty years ago. They were full of my father's love. At that time we were quite poor that it was common to find DIY books on making simple furniture and other stuff in China.
This grandson in the vid is a blessed young man..... His grandpa is a treasure that will help shape a man for the future of humanity.... Again I rate this video.. 😃😃😃😃😃 At Five Smiles!
Truly amazing. This shows the complexity that we take for granted in many everyday items. Without people like him, the computer programs that could do things such as this would've never been possible.
No computer to aid in the 3d design. It’s just his imagination. No modern, technically advance equipment. He only has basic traditional tools. He is amazing! I wish there is a way I could purchase this apple puzzle.
Alex - Hi Alex! Thank you for your offer. I really appreciate it. But I was thinking it would be impractical as you would have to ship it to where I am. It might be expensive to do that also. Anyway, thank you again.
LuBan lock is an old ancient Chinese lock technique. the shape of an Apple is not necessary the final product shape but this video simply demonstrates that the technique is applicable to anything
Darlene Zamora No worries. The Tradition of our nations and ancestors has to be given to next generation forever. What are you doing is great. I enjoy your patiance. Best wishes to you.
Well Grandpa, you did it again. What lucky children you have. I have just 2 questions for you. Do you sell them and where can I buy them? Thanks for the wonderful video. Oh, and give that adorable grandson a hug from me.
Thank you for handmade items. That show that being fast with modern technology, and wasteful for a dollar that means nothing in the end, THAT with some self pride and patience, the out come wheather simple for child or mass produced for earning. Nothing beats or is as valuable as a item made from love. I wish you well in this world and next, the past, future, and present, Smiles and says thank you.... Love always the Murphy family Texas USA.
Hermoso! Una vez más felicitaciones!!! Que envidia le tengo a tus nietos!!!
Beautiful! It started out as a small block of wood most people would just toss in the fire. He made an heirloom quality toy that few people can make by scratch without detailed drawings. I love it!
