Oh yeah the underground scene in any genre, especially rock and hip hop, is so much fun. Less sellouts and more passion. And Granny isn't a sellout and he's very passionate
[Verse 1] Four in the morning's a funny time for a phone call I guess that I've been drinkin' and been thinkin' bout you Where we went wrong We never really moved on Cause all these other women never really felt like you [Chorus] I'm poppin' up a spacer as I'm sippin' champagne These painkillers never really did a damn thing If I didn't have you If I didn't have you If I might crash and I self-destruct Don't ever forget how I just erupted In the palm of your hand In the palm of your hand And if my eyes close and I don't wake up Don't ever forget where this life takes us It's all part of a plan It's all part of a plan [Post-Chorus] Should've guessed that things changed Things change I guess that things change Things change [Verse 2] Nobody said that fallin' for you is easy Cause first you love me then you leave me and you never come back I've been stuck in a crowd That plays the music too loud Shit all this rock n' roll never gets me high like you [Chorus] I'm poppin' up a spacer as I'm sipping' champagne These painkillers never really did a damn thing If I didn't have you If I didn't have you If I might crash and I self-destruct Don't ever forget how I just erupted In the palm of your hand It's in the palm of your hand And if my eyes close and I don't wake up Don't ever forget where this life takes us It's all part of a plan It's all part of a plan [Post-Chorus] Should've guessed that things changed Things change I guess that things change Things change [Bridge] Life is all about the details Other females Ain't gettin' this on This train is gettin' derailed I ain't sweatin' it I got you Mmm I got you Back in the day Used to show ya how to parachute And take ya off the shelf Then I noticed that you learned how to do that shit yourself That's when I lost you And tell me what that cost you [Post Chorus] Mmm shit I guess that things changed Things changed I guess that things change Things change Shit I guess that things change [Outro] Used to show ya how to parachute And take ya off the shelf Then I noticed that you learned how to do that shit yourself That's when I lost you
Wassup everybody? I've uploaded this song from OFFICIAL grandons soundcloud. You can check it - it's the very first song on his account. I didn't find it on RU-vid and I thought that many fans don't know this song. As I see now - I was right. So, I think it's not nice to call it fake :) think before you judge. Peace and enjoy this awesome song.
I love this song! I found it on sound cloud and now that it's on RU-vid I can actually listen to it while I'm in school. Thank you for releasing a boop, even if I am late to telling you that😄
"So ok, here’s the deal. Things change was this old demo. When I was trying to find my sound as an artist in 2014-2015, I was rapping most of the time. A lot of it was like a bad Mac Miller impression, but I did have bars I swear! Things change was this random song I wrote to a Monte Booker beat right when Soulection first premiered his shit, but there was no chorus or anything. When I met my current manager, he was really the one that introduced me to alternative rock, I wasn’t so sure at the time. He was like YO SEND ME THE A CAPPELLA FOR THINGS CHANGE AND YOULL SEE. So ok, fuck it, send him the vocal stems. Then he sends back things change! It was like ohhhhh I seeee now. I was signed to a label as a rapper and we were worried they wouldn’t want to support my newfound rock music career, so we started seeding things change out to blogs and shit and paid for a PR push independently to make it seem like there was this ground swell of buzz happening. Smart, right? Anyways, as I wrote more songs, things change just felt too r&b and the production of our other ideas felt so much more refined that I was happy letting it float around the Internet on fan accounts instead of re releasing it." -Grandson
For everyone asking, you haven’t heard this song before because grandson made it before they got signed so they cant put it on streaming. (That’s the same reason why twenty one pilots cant put regional at best on streaming)
These are the artists we need to be sharing ! Sharing is caring ... except with stds. Check out Bambu if you mess with grandson, not the exact same sound , productive message nonetheless
