Grange Over Sands The Loveliest Spot On The Lakeland Coast 

I live in Thailand before I retired I used to drive to Grange on a Sunday and walk along the promenade such fantastic memories. Thank you.

A great video. My grandmother used to live at Bram-Lea, Kentsford Road, in Grange until the early 1980s. She used to chair the Bridge Club that met in the Nertherwood Hotel. We enjoyed visiting her during the 1960s to the 1980s and had some lovely holidays in Grange walking up Hampsfell too. Since that day there seems to have grown a lot of grass on the muddy banks below the promenade and I was wondering how that had happened.

My parents went to Grange over Sands for there honeymoon in 1948. Went on the train from Blackburn. Am sure they had lots of walks along the prom. What a lovely place.

hi i lived in grange in the 60s nd 70s went to cartmel school i must do a trip bk up north and film with my drones also when i was a kid there was no sea grass it was all sand and rocks right p to the prom the river changes channels every now and then i lived oppiset the rose garden on park road big house called sedgley happy days

Shame the pool is being turned into a garden

Put a business case together and get the Lido funded. Why should lottery and tax payers money be used? The last swimming pool in grange shut due to lack of use.
