Xhaka has been my favourite player since he came to the club. He, when no-one else would, would take the risk to go forward, when goal scoring was what we needed. This eventually lead to several mistakes that he was chastised for, unfairly in my opinion. He has always showed the most passion, the most leadership, the most drive to succeed. He's a centre mid, it's often hard for centre mids to shine, especially when they're not the type of players to do little flicks and skills that gives the crowd a moment to "whoaaa!". That's why I think he's been overlooked and underrated a lot. Think about it, a goalkeeper can make a world class save to gain credit, a defender can make an incredible last ditch tackle to gain credit, a striker/winger can gain the credit by scoring important goals, but what about the mid fielders? Especially centre mids? They are often the providers of so-called "pre-assists", but those are rarely taken into consideration. I think it's quite unfair how he's been treated so far. Top player with a top mentality.

Love the transformation that he went through under the the new boss, Mikel Arteta. When under Emery's regime, he is kinda lost. When he's under the right manager, and with the perfect role, this is the Granit Xhaka we wanted to see. If I'm being honest I think xhaka is very good player hes got the leadership an eye for a pass and the composure. Was never a huge fan of Xhaka but really impressed at how he has turned his Arsenal career around. Arteta has played a huge part in that.

I’ve never thought he’s been as bad as people say, yes he makes mistakes(not so much under arteta yet) but I feel some of the mistakes he made were from risks where other teams defence would have dealt with it 9 times out of 10 but because our backline is also useless his mistakes get capitalised on. You have to say his long range passing especially is very good and he’s a very good leader, still not convinced he can take us to the next level and help us challenge for titles but I hope he can keep doing well under Arteta once this corona virus goes away!🤝COYG🔴⚽️

If you hate Granit Xhaka then either you don't understand football or are a deluded due to tabloids and Instagram football pundits, he's one of the most important players for us on the pitch, he's got swagger, aggression, the ability to set the tempo, score and most importantly give it his all on the pitch. When I was at Emirates for the first time, on Ljungberg's first match VS Brighton(Arsenal lost). Granit Hector Kieran were the only 3 players who left for the fans after the game. Even though Granit had problems with fans at that time, he left for the fans. He is a real professional player and I always respect him since then. He should be the Cap once again.
