it's over 50 years ago now, but my grandma had a camp in fryberg, maine. this reminds me of a restaurant we went to it was large and had a souvenir shop...i got a tom tom drum and a rubber bladed tomahawk...guess my native blood was dominant, even then
Seeing this build was so nostalgic for me and brought back sooo many childhood and teenage memories where we go to little mountain towns for vacation. This restaurant had so many different aspects of all the different restaurants I visited and it was the perfect combination of all of them. So realistic and beautiful. This restaurant is perfect and there is no other way to describe it
my favorite place to eat if and when I can is Johnson's Dairy Bar here in New Hampshire where I live and they have a little area were you can wait for a table
I knew ”formally know as” would stick lol I think it depends a bit on your system, but unmodded the limit is 20, which is why sometimes the bartender or waiter fail to show up because they aren’t exempt to the rule in the code for some reason.
LOVE LOVE LOVE I lived in Oregon for about 7 years. There is a restaurant like this in Elsie Oregon, and this build gave me ALL the vibes! The bear statue outside! The red and green, the forest/bear themed everything! I love it!
I cannot tell you how much I love this build. As a native Mainer, so many of the things you observed/said made me laugh because of the truth of it (the flannel, the Moose deco). This reminds me of a lot of family owned restaurants around where my family would go camping in the summer, and made me incredibly homesick in the best of ways. If that makes sense. Thank you for this bit of nostalgia!
i definitely love this build!! this style of restaurant is so chill!! i live in france and in my town i don’t really have ones like this ahah, you’re vidéo was really relaxing tysm!! i agree the roof trims are so annoying 😩😩
Have been a bit stressed today and just felt myself mellow out when I heard your voice. Love the idea of a cosy restaurant in Granite Falls and (edit dang it) *did’t* think Christmas when I saw the red and green.
God!! I have no words for how freaking happy this build makes me. It gives off these Twin Peaks/Far Cry 5 vibes, and I just adore it! Can't wait to add this to my game!
Holy crap, April! How is it you seem to out-do yourself with everyone of you builds? Also can I just say this place is giving me mad "Bugaboo Creek" vibes? Just *chefs kiss* perfection. I love it
This is such a beautiful build! I clicked to watch as soon as I saw the thumbnail. I’ve really been falling in LOVE with your content. Keep up the amazing work! 😁
I HAVE A TIP FOR EVERYONE WHO HATES TVS IN THE BARS: Just make a basement room (with NO stairs or ladders leading down to it, so the Sims can’t get down there), place the TV there and… voila!
Wow, I’m late but I’ve been so excited all week to watch this video! Despite it being inspired by your time in Maine and Vermont, it totally reminds me of a cabin theme restaurant here on the Oregon coast 🥰 Amazing job, I find restaurants to be one of the most challenging builds in the game but you nailed it!
