Byrd's walk-off hole in one is one of the great finishes in all of golf, and he went with an iron shot to make a playoff that he ended up losing; wild!!! Seems like a really cool, chill guy

Wasn't Byrd referring to the hole he played that got him into the play off, which gave him the chance of the "walk-off" hole in one to win? Pretty sure he is talking about the same round of golf.

@@CLANKGOLF Quail Hollow and Lucas Glover was the Wells Fargo in 2011 and yeah he lost that one; the hole in one was to win the Shriners in Vegas against two other guys in 2010. I had to look it up to make sure I had it right because I was (and am!) befuddled

Grant and George don’t like shadows and they have near flawless swings. Imagine someone like me who has a horrible swing! But I agree, I thought I was alone in hating playing with the sun behind me.

I followed Jonathan Byrd at the John Deere Classic about 15 years ago. He hit a drive on 15 (a long, tough par 4) that I will never forget. There was a stiff breeze. He teed it low, choked down an inch, and hammered it. The ball took off like a bullet and never got more than about 50 feet off the ground. His shotmaking was incredible.

Jonathan Byrd still a stud. You can feel the competitive spirit literally through computer screen with him. It's obvious why he won 5 times on the PGA tour. He clutched up every time he needed to which was often on the front nine--What a partner he would be in any format. Kudos to a great video!!
