In this video, we’ll talk about record access and role hierarchy. A role is a record-level access in Salesforce that defines the visibility access of a user. Role hierarchy is a way to extend record access when org-wide sharing settings have been set to Private or Public Read-Only. Users get access to records owned by others below them in the role hierarchy.
