Hi Guys :) Thanks for watching, and hello to the many newcomers! This video shows off some progress with my current project’s software for Microchip dsPic33FJ128GP802.
I found your channel yesterday while researching CD32 expansions, thank you for making concise useful videos. It's so refreshing compared to the longwinded crap some people pump out week after week.
Ha ha! He is having a Parker's attempt at running a RU-vid channel! But seriously, I've known of this channel for two or three years. Really liked the core memory episodes.
Thanks to EEVBog, I'm now subscribed. That should have updated your nixie counter to 3011. Anyway, keep 'em coming Brett, I will surely come back for more!
Ah! That subscriber count is only down to the tubes pitiful algorithm. It doesn't take into account that some people are intelligent. I can't believe that a vid showing a cat with it's head placed through a hole in a piece of toast achieved 10M views. Maybe you could make a vid showing the body of an electrolytic capacitor placed through a hole in a piece of breadboard? Guaranteed 10M views and a 1M viewer base. Congratulations on the 3K subscribers.
Those youtubers are so mean lol, just because they have so much more subscribers.. But you will get there mate. I bet they didn't imagine they would have more subscribers too! You'll get there.
Mainstream now dude. Been a long time subscriber since we both failed to win a scope in the EEVBlog giveaway.... Have fun! Would be nice to know a bit about how you are decoding the AX25... or is that done in the radio?
Hi :) I just have speaker/mic coupling, or packet interface to radios. Another chip by Bob Ball is used to decode Bell 202, and then ax.25. I’m only handling APRS protocol. Bob Ball’s 16F88 is based on prior work by others, and it can send location packets on it’s own, but won’t be allowed to. I’m handling the GPS myself, and will be assembling any sent packets myself, including replies to the GETIO & SETIO commands, as well as an announcement with the Astronomy information you see in the clock program in a prior video. I have my own APRS software designator because any new bugs in transmitted information are likely introduced be me :D
