The cop came in kind of hot in the beginning, but i have to give him credit cause he corrected his behavior shortly after, and tried his best to resolve it peacefully and quickly.
I love how some people think the color of their skin puts them above the law. I especially like how "I can't breathe" has become a get out of jail free card
Its different that saying, if you frequent a coffee shop and they want you to leave, then you no longer are allowed.. is different then having a CONTRACT to a office space for a specified amount of time.. any notice of change must be lawfully delivered and it has not been.. He has not been lawfully served with notice to evacuate..
It's a service contract that can be terminated immediately. He was lawfully served clearly in the video. He refused to leave, he was arrested. Pretty clear
The legal distinction is Mr. Marshall had a " license" to be on the property versus a "leasehold " interest . The former does not give him a possessory interest, the latter gives him a possessory interest. Thus, Mr. Marshall can be trespassed at any time. John A. 46:48 this is a viscerally interesting video i am glued to every second but his hypocrisy really grossed me out Talking about Jan 6th riots in a negative manner, I completely agree. Lecherous activity through and through. Says white privilege exists and notes its disproportionate effects and meteing out based on occupation, less uncontroversisl but generally I can appreciate where he's coming from. Goes on to say that's why you saw no black/ African American protestors, and is corrected and told that the one that did was a service person to the state, and died from the decision to ere in the face of the same and he said "that's because she was a warrior" What the hell kind of logic is that! White privilege gets others killed or imperiled for their lack of such an affect, but then to speak to the righteousness of the other to shoehorn a narrative that normally is directly counter the very circumstance spoken of, he says she was a warrior. I'm baffled it so nasty he said it unfettered immediately! How can you see similar people victimized without being handled the same as others, often to death and complain but then glorify a very skewed representation of the very concept of your condemnation as noble!? It's like cartoonishly illustrative of the tokenism he speaks to (basically the white majority are treated with kid gloves whereas the others are brutally kept underfoot through fear or violence and often both) I don't think I've ever seen a flip flop so profound from such a visibly altogether mind and personality. No duress and hardly alternate affects which influence speech/ personality (drugs, alcohol) it waa very sobering. I'm not stating agreeance or opposition to the white privilege, merely noting his seeming noncommittal stance in his evocation of the matter, very two faced and I found it uniquely distasteful. Sorry if this comes across differently than my intention/ worded poorly No rudeness intended just had to speak. Does anyone else feel grossed out by his self serving wax on wax off rhetoric. I guess I feel slightly more stumped/personally affronted due to its being close to home?
That is privilege right here. Would he been a random black guy on the streets he would have been treated VERY differently. Race does make a difference. But class obviously makes a way bigger difference.
