Before it, Akshay was playing Shivji himself , but CBFC didn't want the controversy of Shivji's character talking on S*x related topics and asked the movie makers to make the changes in the character. So, movie makers made the character a messenger of God (a concept from Abrahamic Religions), but in Hinduism, there is a concept of Avatars, not messengers. They should have incorporated it in a way aligning with the Hindu concept.

As far as sound design goes, I feel a better example would have been the song OM SHANTI OM in the film Om Shanti Om, where they had the crowd cheering sound as every celebrity came. That sound design gave the feel of theatre crowd cheering😊
