in fact, people in China like you have earned a lot of money as a online teacher ,(about $400 per student, 10 courses) and I don't think they are better than you, I feel upset as just few of us have chances to watch you videos, because the gov had been blocking the youtube, twitter and other common websites, so we have to pay for vpn to watch your video here...As final, I just want to say, I really learn a lot from your video, and if you open network teaching, or publish these video on the the websites that are not blocked for us, even we have to pay for your video, I am sure we will glade to pay for it.
I am having an issue around 3:19, i set it up exactly as you in the video, but it says my integer is 0 and gives my rectangle grid an error, what am i doing wrong?
hi Daniel,I tried to explode a box and use one of the surfaces to apply your method, but when I use deconstruct domain2 component to get the U and V domains,it shows that the U domain do not start with zero, but the V domain does. Then I select another surface of the exploded box,the U domain starts with zero. This is quite bewildering and it would be great if you can give me some tips.
Daniel your help needed :) Ill start from the end- I need to make a portrait made out of dots fritting pattern (pointioalist image) in a range of *10 different dots sizes maximum*- when the smallest size is 5mm diameter and the bigest is 10mm diameter. I mananged to convert the image to fritting pattern and apply the range of the biggest and smallest- but I dont know how to get a result of only 10 diffrent sizes. Is there any way to do so?
Check out this thread on the grasshopper website. I added a reply with a definition for how I would do something like that, and would largely be applicable here. www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/remap-a-set-of-numbers-to-3-values?commentId=2985220%3AComment%3A1754814
+Bianca Koppen Hey there! To be honest, I don't really see grasshopper being suited to making a 3D mesh of the skull, it would take quite a complex definition to give you a mesh representation of that kind of geometry. You'd probably be better off going for a more traditional modelling approach with a skull.
do you know how to restrict the circle radii (or image sampler values) to specific numbers? like if I want all of the values to be integers, or to have 5 steps between radius 1 and 2?

Daniel Christev i mean like not on the grid, but the image is defined by the same radius circles with different density, another approach, i dont know if its even possible
if you do tutorials: dont use the short descriptions of the functions, you go way to fast and with all the "oh no, not that one, we dont need that one" its a back and forth that made me loose it in minute 2 but thanks for the info, I got a few
Thanks for the feedback mate! I know there's a lot I could do better with these videos, but I just had to start making them, and I've learned a lot along the way. When I get around to doing some new ones, there's a lot of things I'll do differently. Hope they're still useful tho 😊
