I worked on a sheep farm for a bit, pretty standard equipment, manitou loader and a New Holland tractor from 2012. And for some reason, during the time working there and seeing the equipment of neighbouring farms, I had fallen in love with Case and New Holland Combines.
Thank god, finally an Irish show that isn't a complete disgrace. Love the videos. Any chance ye would make a documentary about the real life ups and downs of a contractor? That would be class. We want more!!!!! Great work
Great video once again , always follow ur dream is right, since the age of ten I wanted to have sheep now I'm fifteen I have learned lots about farming at a young age , I started buying pet lambs and rearing them and then sold them on , hopefully in March I'll have 20-30 ewes and lambs , just 4-5 years ago I started off with two then it just went on , if u like something don't do it for the money do it because u love it , anyways hope to meet u at the ploughing championships if I can afford to get the tickets, love ur vids , - Kevin Maher -
it's grand at a young age to do it for the love of it but That Won't pay the contractor or mortgage or vet fees cattle or sheep feed at current date one is lucky to make twenty quid ahead profit. but keep at it an hopeful by the time ur parents retire in there late 60s or seventies things will have picked up.
it's in possible now a days for young farmers to get the go ahead as older generations ain't passing over the land until there 70s or even more an in most situations there sons are in there 40s an there no point starting to build a farm at that stage it just wouldn't be possible unless of course the son has a big bank account already an needs no loans an can start making a profit from the off
that was a very informative interview thank's. today i have learnt that you are more than two ,legend's and a donkey ,which is video i watch, when i need a, pick me up
