i love how mis huff with so much abuse still is kicking and reving out and these low km turbo boys be dying early, shows how important driving in the engine is, i mean if it ain't got 200k+ is it track ready?
Seems to be a lot of weight transfering/unsettling of the car, he's always done that, that's how he drifts the auto open diff cars. Disclaimer: I am not knowledgeable at all
honestly, the absolute rawness of this guy and his volvos makes this my favorite channel for car content. All i can say for feedback is maybe some production of the video. Like having small compilations of race moments with some music in the background befor and after commentary. Stuff like that. More creative camera angles and maybe slow mo clips with more sense for aesthetic. For good examples of what i mean you can look at VWhome videos.
Nah, production is fine. I like the "home movie" recording style, and I hate the shitty music in car videos. I wanna hear commentary or car noises, not obnoxiously loud dubstep garbage. And judging by the comments on videos I see like that, this is not an unpopular opinion.
@@drtm1718 second that. There are enough channels that focus on the appearance of drifting, these videos are for the raw experience of drifting. This perspective is captured really well in my opinion, why try and fix what isn't broken?
@@religion_of_rage Agreed. Racing is a rich mans sport. Seeing Colton with his bangers, is so great. It's like everyman, within reach of many of us. Barring the time and talent. As hot as that Mazda was. It's the Volvo, for pure fun.
Thank you for inspiring me to buy e46 2.8i wagon for drifting. Would love to get volvo for drifting but they're too expensive in my country. Greetings from Lithuania
Bro I’m from England been wanting one of these for years been blessed to come across your page been following and watching you give me inspiration Drifting wasn’t a thought in my mind ! Keep blessings those blocks
Bro I subbed to your channel because of a guy I met in shawano Wisconsin I helped him push his supra on the trailer and we were bullshitting about drifting and stuff and he recommended me to your channel and my god I don't regret it. Kick ass content brother keep it up.
Did you torque the head angularly? Stock volvo head bolt torque is scary high. Was the head skimmed for good seal? Legit gasket? Do you run some toluene in your fuel when you race? Answered: no. Do. Cheap insurance. And again, twisting the distributor does NOTHING :-D At all, except weaken your spark potentially.
It said to myselft it was doing without a cyl on and off during the end of the practice run. My first thought was that you need to gap the plugs tight. The oilsquirters are not to blame, they can be punished hard without 'em. If you really blasted a piston or rings I would assume too agressive timing.
Fuel pressure drop due fuel surge in tank is enought to kill the engine. Ring gap, in pistons rings shoud be increased when increasing power, so whey can take more heat and you don´t brake your piston ring walls.
About 2 months ago I was turning my car around to back it into the driveway pushed the clutch and it was stuck in gear replaced the clutch among other upgrades just to find out it was the master
@@ToreDL87 basically have the same situation here lol. I've had a hydro handle in my volvo 240 for probably over a year with the lines all plumbed under the car and the Ts taped off waiting to be finished, but eventually decided to go dual caliper instead of a pass through design. Much simpler to install and none of the drawbacks the single caliper design has
