These were the shows I chose not to go to after Red Rocks. I needed to do some hiking and enjoy Colorado before heading back to Florida. The guy I could've gone to Santa Fe with was a new head. Cool guy, but I had a funny feeling about him. When I went back for the '85 shows, I learned that he checked out which was a shock. Just thinking about it listening to China Doll. Thanks for sharing. I had the AUD tapes, but they didn't sound as good as RR's.
Funny, I had the same experience. Drove out from Vermont with friends for Red Rocks. At the end of the 3 nights we debated whether to go to SF or Yellowstone, and chose Yellowstone. 8 years later I moved to santa fe, and I now live about 2 miles from the Downs.
Thank you so much! Had a feeling, when I woke up, it was going to be a lucky in love type of day. Love is… seeing your double rainbows. With heart. ❤️🥰🎶😍🌻
Thank you Day Job! Your posts are consistently exellent sound quality. I really appreciate that . I was at this show in the winners circle of the racetrack. Totally excellent weekend shows. The rainbow was psycedelic and lasted a very long time. Thanks for the memory. Do you happen to have Saturday show?
@@LostMyDayJob You and me both...un friggin believable. These owners don't care about winning . The greedy horrible creatures believe they can buy a suite in heaven .... I do need Texas Tech to win today .
LMDJ Thank you so much ♥️🌈. as a grateful admirer of your amazing contribution to Grateful Dead music. I most humbly request for you to turn the recoding available for my favorite show of hundreds and turn it into something that’s sound quality is worthy of its unique and miraculous and destructive crushing nature Long Beach Sports Arena 1981. The second night. Shakedown second set opener. “They call me a dreamer “ Jerry saves {🥕🐇}:•}
