Great video! I met Eddie Rabbitt in Albuquerque back in the 80s, and he couldn't have been nicer to myself, and more importantly to my mom! When she was alive, Elvis, and Eddie Rabbitt were her favorites! He was great to us that night! Thanks again my friend!!🙂🤝 I look forward to watching alot more of your videos!
Love his music. I was in my 20's, living in Los Angeles, and fell in love with country music when Every Which Way But Loose, the music and the film, came out. It was a mystery to me about his whereabouts until today. Thank you for this video. May God bless and keep you, Eddie Rabbitt.
Eddie Rabbit was a great singer. But the guy talking about these famous people's graves spends more time talking about the grave yards they're in and everybody else's grave instead of the person he's there to see.
Wow! Eddie Rabbit has been gone a long time ⌛️ I remember he had a young son who died. So sad 😞 Loved his songs 🎵 Saw him in person a few times. Thanks for showing Eddie and little Timothy's graves. 🙏 💕
I remember Eddie rabbits song driving my life away when I was a little kid around 1980 when that song was on the radio I would tell them to turn it up and try to sing all the words to the song,I love a rainy night was a good one also, it's so hard to believe he's been gone for 20+ years there are so many gone!
My good friend cousin married Eddie Rabbit, Janine Girardi, from Philadelphia. He loved loved her and was so true to her. He met her while she attending college and I believe he was was doing a concert there. Janine was Catholic maybe that’s why he was buried in a catholic cemetery.
Sounds like you were on your way to figuring it out for yourself, but Mount Olivet is an amazing cemetery. All of my grandparents are buried there. Do your research and you can see that there are a ton of famous people there. Lots of family names that are central to Nashville in particular. But thanks for covering Eddie Rabbit - sadly gone too soon.
Sorry I had to work. I'm so glad you did this. I Loved his music. It was so sad when he died. Thank You for showing all the other graves too. They were awesome. Have a Wonderful Holiday Weekend.🙏❤👍
Should have been two separate videos. When you show the headstones or plaques how about focusing on them for a minute for people who are trying to read the entire thing.
I didn’t know much about Eddie Rabbitt, but even over here, his song I love a rainy night was huge. Thanks for sharing a little bit about him. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
Lived near him in Fairview, TN. A friend of mine told a story about him visiting his mother in nearby Franklin. His mother used to to tell the residents about his Son as a Country Music Singer. They didn't believe her, then one day he walked in to see his mother and then
Thanks for doing this. I loved Eddie Rabbitt.. One of my favorite is I love The Rainy Nights. It's one of those songs I could listen to over and over. I remember hearing he had passed I got sad, not shame to say, I shed a few tears. It probably wasn't until that albumn came out with I love the Rainy Nights. That I knew he was really good. I do love Rainy Nights. It's something about the sound of rain on the roof top that soothe me and I sleep like a baby. 64 Country would play Country Music 24 hours a day 7 days a week. On Sunday they did do Gospel. They showed videos. They even showed the classic videos. But like everything else they was bought out, no more country videos or music. Even the Radio that played country music, took request changed in the late 90s. Cmt changed. As the folks say the big wigs from new York came to Nashville, bought out the Country Music channels and Country Music has not been the same.. Yeah Eddie Rabbitt was one my favorites like Keith Whitley. I'm not comparing Eddie to Keith. They both died much too soon. I loved both their songs. Their music. . I mostly listen to Classic Country most radio stations have forgotten what true country music is. I'm in my early 40s. I do love some of today's country music, and some just more pop than country. Again thanks for showing is where Eddie is laid to Rest. I bought the music package that plays all kinds of Country Music. They have one channel that play all the classic music and videos if one was made. I do like some of today's country music, but some sound more pop than country. Take care. Love, respect, and positivity Always. Vee and Family.
Just came across your channel by accident. I really enjoy how you tell the life history of those who've past on and the respect you show. Prayers for you and yours!!
This is not my first time watch your channel but I grew up hearing Eddie Rabbitt Like his voice and love his songs I love a rainy night I'm glad that you let his fans show his grave
I love me some Eddie Rabbitt I WAS wondering what happened to him. And then I found out he had DIED ‼️. IT was awhile before I found out he was dead. Thanks for sharing this with me ‼️ have a awesome holiday weekend ‼️😃👍🏽💯👍🏽. EDDIE RABBITT WAS BORN THE SAME YEAR AS MY MOTHER ‼️ WOW‼️
His songs are perfect, my first exposure to his music is back in 2019. And now, he's my all time favourite singer. Wish I was born earlier so that he's still alive but oh well, at least his songs stuck with me
He wrote Kentucky Rain for Elvis and Pure Love for Ronnie Milsap I love his music he was so young when he past away Kentucky Rain is one of my favorite Elvis songs
Well looks like he would of had a better tombstone that for sure just a small tombstone not much to it at all and a great singer at that I had seen him alot in person he was a great singer .
He was a great underrated singer/songwriter. Seems like ‘Nashville’ tended to overlook his success…maybe due to him being from East Orange, New Jersey & charting crossover ‘pop’ hits back in the late 70’s & early 80’s…who knows. One thing is for sure, his songwriting & albums were top shelf. Is ability to layer harmonies on his records was stellar. Sure miss him.
I didn't know that he was ill with cancer and passed away from it in 1998. He was a great singer in the late 70s and 80s as a teenager in school i am 61 almost 62years old this year still love older country music now 😊 Pam Johnson McPherson ks
Awww I didnt realise Eddie has passed. I live in England UK and when the movie every which way but loose was released I loved the song forever xxxx RIP dear Eddie
