@@julius43461 not really. The Total EU defence spending is still way bigger than that of Russia. But the problem is that they don't really pool their resources together. Everyone is basically doing their own thing. And this creates a lot of overlap in certain areas and gaps in others. The US procurement for tanks ends with one model and they produce thousands of them. In Europe you have 4 or 5 different countries producing their own tank and each just gets produced in the hundreds. So you never get that economy of scale. And this won't get fixed. Too much pride to accept reality .
