I am not a Sikh, but a Hindu. I owe my existence to the Sikhs who gave their life to protect the homeland. My utmost respect to them. I know what happened can not be changed, and those innocent lives lost can not be brought back. We as Indians need to stay united, and build our country to good living standards. You can see what hate does to a country, for instance Pakistan was build on hate, look at it now.

That's 100% true. Akali Dal was very powerful in punjab so as to de-stable them Indira Gandhi & Congress party supported Bhindrawale. My father told me that one time Bhindrawale & his disciples roams the streets of delhi loaded in trucks with weapons arms & ammunition and no one said anything to him.

WION has provided a biased report. Many key facts left out. For example, the Anandpur Sahib resolution - which is what the Sikhs were fighting for. The indian army assaulted Sri Harmandir Sahib on the Shaheed anniversary of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the founder of the holy complex - this was to maximise fatalities. "Riots" were mentioned following Ghandi's death, however you failed to mention that sikhs were KILLED IN MASS AND BOTH THE POLICE AND GOVERNMENT DID NOTHING. You also failed to mention that the nanavati comission accepts that the "riots" was organised. - Then you wonder why Sikhs want a seperate state. Its because despite being "the worlds largest democracy" , indian news will never follow journalism law of being UNBIASED, ACCURATE and UP TO DATE. This report was in 2022 so you have no excuse for missing out crutial facts !

If you don't know the ground reality then don't write nonsense comments. Neither Bhindranwale had killed any Hindu nor demanded Khalistan. It was the Indira Gandhi who had created and promoted Bhindranwale against Akalis.
