You are probably down by 80+% or more already. I got in at $12 last year, ughg.. Nobody should invest in EV companies for at least another couple of years-- there are too many of them and demand is too weak .

For EVs, they are inseparable. Want range? Then the car needs a large battery pack and efficient drive train. That also allows the option to deploy all the energy in big bursts, giving high performance. The battery pack is the source of potential energy, not just energy storage like a fuel tank is.

Wishing Lucid the best (because well, Lucid has been my worst investment of all time). Lowering production as to lower inventory (assuming I heard that correctly on the call) was a very ominous sign. Unfortunately, the demand for a very expensive, no frills luxury car (actually now that I think about, why did I invest in a company that sells a very expensive no frills luxury car) is just not there, and nothing is going to change that. The only way this company stays open is if they start selling no frills long distance EVs at $30,000 to $40,000.

Make a version that retails under $80,000 so that USA customers can capture the $7500 tax credit. Also: make a rally-car version, with twin motors front & rear for 4-wheel torque vectoring and take it to the annual Monte-Carlo e-Rally. (A Kia e-Niro won this year. A Kia! The gauntlet has been dropped.)

To maximize the benefits of a car with a long mileage, you must first target countries with small land areas. I don't understand. Target Korea first. If Korea can go 500km on a single charge, it can go from end to end. As soon as Lucid comes to Korea, more than 100,000 reservations will be made within a month. Target places that have a lot of money and like cars first I hope the management reads my post. There are countless Lucid buyers waiting in Korea. Korea's purchasing power for expensive products such as Apple products, Starbucks, etc. is much higher than in any other country. They buy what they want even if they are in debt to the bank

congrats to Peter for killing lucid whilst taking huge $300m payday , lucid desperately need a mass market USD 50k small sedan/suv NOT six figure uber cruisers as there is a tiny market for high end ev's especially during a global reccesion. there is no point making high margin cars when no one buys them. ALSO they need to open showrooms countries like Japan, Italy, France, UK which are huge markets. tl;dr this clown company needs to take things more seriously and be more aggressive if they want to survive

If anyone could afford it lol...I just got a Tesla a few months ago and considering I am super happy with it maybe it's overrated...maybe I hate it's CEO but the fact is I love that car...but I'm going to skip on the lucid wait till 2027 trade in my Tesla for probably a Toyota with the new 700+ mi range battery they are making...and for those of you needing ev now...2024 Tesla model 2 has a base model coming out that will start at 25,000 way more affordable in the end for me I love luxury but I need practicality (price wise) too P.s. love how they just show random parts of a the car reminds me when someone puts a pic of their shoulder or their eye on their socials lol

Learn from Tesla, Lucid …. high price cars don’t sell well. They nearly went bankrupt twice before learning that lesson. Lower the price and your cars will sell. I’m rooting for you, but your high prices is the problem with your supply-demand imbalance. Lower each trim by $20k and they will fly out of inventory and orders will skyrocket.

Uuh... the rear profile looks much like a Porsche Cayenne Turbo which is GREAT!! But the full side profile looks like a freakin' Minivan which is absolutely AWFUL! Many of us will be vastly disappointed with the exterior design once fully revealed in 10 Days. Good luck!
