I've watched this episode at least 20~30 times, and I still choke up at "I trust you."

We made it fam... After months of waiting we finally made it 2x11. The feels...

*"OW!! HOT BELGIAN WAFFLES!!"* "Wait... I'm alone! I can swear for real!" *"SON OF A--"*

You know what I just noticed? If you watched the episode “Boss Mabel”, you’ll know that saying the word “Please” gives Stan a burn sensation. But in this episode in pure desperation, he said “Please” twice. Not only is that a nice small piece of personal growth, but I think because of how saying the word worked for him in that episode but he’s willing to say it here, I think that second “please” is what convinced Mabel not to push the button.

I love how everyone's reactions to Stan getting free is "GO STAN! Or... whoever you are!!! WOoo!"

I've been waiting SO LONG to see you react to the scene with Mable floating upwards! :D Easily one of the top 3 most iconic story beats from the entire show. And just wait till you see the other two... Gravity Falls truly showcases what post-Gargoyles Disney is capable of when S&P cuts them just enough slack.

Fun little hint to this reveal. Remember tge Dreamscaper episode? In the flashback where Stan talks about him learning how to box you can see Stanford in the background, head in a book reading :)!

i still remember going to school the day after Not What He Seems aired on TV and literally everybody was talking about it, it was so cool to see so many people in one place like that same thing

Notice how dipper is very sleepy when mabel woke him up at 7 but that is the normal time to wake up its actually the next day of northwest mansion mystery and remember dipper adds about his adventures in the journal like additions into it

Well, now we know that the author of the Journals was Grunkle Stan's twin brother!!!

Once you finish Gravity Falls, I'd recommend the DuckTales reboot. The season 1 finale is airing this weekend, and this show is insane. Definitely worth the watch and worth reacting to.

**POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR FUTURE EPISODES IF YOU HAVENT SEEN BEYOND THIS ONE** 4:41 I just noticed smth, and I wonder if it was intentional (since it's VERY RARE for anything in this show to be a coincidence). One of Stan's aliases had the nickname "8 Ball" included in it, and that's also the actual name of one of Bill Ciphers "friends" that comes with him thru the rip from the other dimension during Weirdmageddon later on. Not sure if there's any way that could've actually foreshadowed anything beforehand on 1st watch thru like some of the other clues that have been dropped in past episodes do, but maybe instead of acting as a hint of any kind, it was just put there as an Easter egg for people rewatching the show to find.

I'm really lost on the reflection thing but did anyone else notice rewatching the show show that Wendy was ice because of the episode introducing waddles rather than the whole "cool under pressure" thing they went with I completely missed it before lol
