Yeah, and Dipper x Candy is a one time thing. Well, two, but I forgot what episode. Also, this episode was supposed to show up much earlier, but didn't. Which is why this is one of the least favorite episodes in this series.

Well, I would say my family brings out the best in me but I think that’s kind of frowned upon in most places except for Alabama.

The best kind of filler. This episode really had so much going on, it felt like 40 minutes to me, and it was great fun AND it was real. All the love advices and Dipper's adventures during this episode, they hit me pretty hard.

Onaterdem You also gets to see Dipper enjoying some time with Stanley instead of Stanford for a while, which is a relief knowing Grunkle Stan wasn’t forgotten

I’m honestly so sad it’s almost over.. But I think that’s part of what makes Gravity Falls so amazing. It’s exactly what Alex Hirsch wanted- All good things must come to an end and summer break always kept you wanting more 😭❤️

Am I the only one who .... Dipper x Candy.... Sure there was a whole episode with Pacifica and I really like her. And even though it was a small thing in this episode but I still ship it! And Pacifica with dipper but mostly Candy.

I totally get what you're saying but I also loved Into The Bunker, and how they handled their relationship in that. I think it's probably the most mature way a (kid's) show has done something like that, keeping their friendship but still taking down the 'canon' ship. At the same time I understand, I sorta wish they had just ended it there, because then with this episode, suddenly it doesn't feel resolved anymore.

Wendy really isn’t too old for Dipper. It’s just a lazy decision on Alex’s part to shove Pacifica into a spotlight.

Age differences of a few years maybe aren't that big of a deal between adults (hell, my parents have an age gap of 6 years) but when you're a teenager being in a relationship with someone younger than you by a few years can be quite weird. Especially if the other person is still a pre-teen.

I think it's that anything that upsets her skewed worldview she fights against (at least at first).

Actually, I think it's very clever and appropriate. I don't know if I would call it 'shaming dipper' but to Mabel, it's easy to give up on crushes. Dipper even asked her "how do you do it?" because he knows she can pick up and drop crushes so easily. Also, Alex did mention the show is not exactly about him and Ariel, but the way it *felt* to be a pre-teen, which this episode exemplifies extremely well. My one problem is with Candy, she got so angry when Dipper was talking to other girls, but she was the one coming on to him - and when other girls talked to him she acted betrayed even though there was no reciprocal relationship - it was just a few strong come-on moves by Candy and she thought Dipper owed her his loyalty.

@@Scott-ql2kx I agree and don't agree at the same time. I agree that it definitely is a valid excuse. They're kids. It just so happens that Dipper had much more growth as a character than Mabel. Mabel is the more immature one and sees the world in a rainbow tinted glasses. Thay's her schtick. At the same time though, it's also a valid criticism to Mabel as a character. This is a kids show afterall, and the primary audience is kids. They show has a mix bag of subtle and not so subtle moral lesson in every episode. And Mabel acting this way a lot of the times is actual bad imo. I think seeing actual bad behavior disguised as funny/quirky/good is pretty dangerous to developing kids.

Mabel is the worst.

Always figured that was why Wendy was so pissed about Robbie and Tambry. Not that Tambry was dating her ex, but that Robbie just stole her girlfriend.
