I like to believe that Eda really did love him as well. Yet after the euphoria of the evening died down, she sobered up enough to realize what she had done. Maybe she was afraid Stan wouldn't love her once he actually knew her, so she chose to leave him before he left her and in doing so, also preferred to remember him as fondly as possible.
2:29 Stanley released the feather, letting go of his past. Slowly, it seemed to fade away, until the wind carried it back to the boat, which was caught by a 6 fingered hand. ''This feather is familiar" Ford mumbled. Stanley- now curious-asked "what about it?". "Along my many adventures in the multiverse" "Here we go again" "ehmm, among the multiple words I visited; one of them nearly allowed me to return home." Stanley's eyes widened in surprise. "I had encountered a humanoid creature commonly known as a witch, that possessed a door to our realm. Unfortunately, I could not use it due to-among many reasons-her sudden transformation into a wild magical owl beast. It was a" "Did she have a golden tooth and orange-grey hair"? Stan interrupted. "Well, now that I remember, yes". How did you know? "Well, there may be some parts of my memory that I may need to unlock. We're doing a small detour, let's go to Las Vegas" "No, that is 3000km away from where we need to go" Ford protested. "At least we get to visit our favorite twins on the way" eased Stan. Convinced, but grumbled, Ford made a 180-degree turn and set course for California.
@@joeybabs1 plot synopsis: Stan let’s go of Eda’s feather only for it to float back and Ford grabs it. Ford then recounts The story about how he somehow ended up in the boiling isles but was unable to go through the door because Eda entered her beast form. Stan then decides that they are going to Vegas to help him remember a bit more (on account of that part of his memory is not being brought back fully)
I'd love it if at the end of a the Owl House episode, Eda sits with a gold ring, thinking back at those days, whispering to herself "The one time I really loved someone, why did I run?"
@@Connie_TinuityError tbh yeah they both commit crimes and have so much in common but as much as i love raine they were just there for the storyline and edas backstory
This is beautiful. A true masterpiece. I like to think that what they both felt was real. We know it was for Stan. It probably was for Eda too. I imagine that she panicked and that’s why she took off the way she did. Maybe it too much all at once to think through, or maybe she was running out of elixir and feared she’d kill him. She said it herself that the Owl Beast is why she never got close to anyone. Maybe if they got to talk it through, it could have worked. I guess that’s their biggest what if.
Yeah, I imagen a mix between old habits and her curse made her leave. Imagen trying to explain to your SO that if you dont drink this golden liquid you turn into a were-owl monster. God I pray that some how, some way, if Gravity Falls ever gets a season 3, by the looks of the hype thats growing thanks to the book of bill, it convinces Disney to make a crossover movie of its other shows like Owl house and Amphibia
Yeah, I like to think Eda was genuine. But the next morning while Stan slept she saw the feathers on her arm and realized how unrealistic this whole thing was.
CANON, ALEX TOLD ME THROUGH MY WINDOW AND DANNA IN MY DREAMS.💖💯💌 God! how can you draw so beautiful?! 😭💜💖💝I am honored to be here to appreciate this work of art.💫👌
You know... this might be a bit funny but Stan and Eda are probably still actually married. See, even if it's a short Vegas wedding, it's still a wedding. Meaning they are both still legally husband and wife. I wonder how Raine would react to knowing that the love of their life is already married? Or how Stan would react to the news he's actually still married.
I wonder how he would feel, after traveling across the multiverse with Rick Sanchez and becoming criminal legend, that's he's technically married to a witch.@@valentinkambushev4968
I personally believe he was being serious when he said her aim was getting better. In that she kept trying to hit him with potions *which stan believe were filled with some foul smelling fluid* but kept missing, or in this case he kept catching them and throwing them away elsewhere.
okay don't hate me, but even though I understand that people think that "Marilyn" was Eda, I just don't see it, and even though I'm over Stan, I still appreciate that he's a romantic at heart
Well we know Eda went by the name "Marilyn" while in the Human realm and Stan's description of his ex-wife is spot on for Eda. That and the fact that she owns a mug that has the same phrase that Marilyn had on a T-shirt. At the end of the day it's just a fun Easter egg/fan theory but it does seem to fit rather well with the lore of both shows.
Maybe because all of his "date" so far has been terrible, His first date is literally someone that want to scame even a person feeling and yes Stan never manipulate someone to intentionally love him. His second known "date" is with Lazy Susan this is the case of not knowing enough about someone before seriously going out with them. But this is mostly Mabel fault as instead of letting Stanley and Susan find out about each other more and then get a date she haphazrdly trying to speedrun relationship, which turn out backed fire hard as Stan really doesnt like Susan once he gone past surface level. The next kinda serious date is finally when he is deperate enough now and use pick up line(maybe he learn it from Mabel?)but even worse it with a spider woman that can tranform at will. He may not be your typical romantic person but he KNOW how important "love" is and if even "Soos" he care deeply about then it not a jump to say that if Stanley actually found true love somewhere that he would try to protect them as much as he can because as much as i hate to say it i dont think Ford can provide enough emotional support for Stanley and the twin have their own life so he need someone else constant in his life
Atleast the good new is there alot of people will stand in line to he your forever love Stanley. And you"ll bet i will punch every other competition who dare try to enter.
