@@rokosbasilisk5376 they were formed from people brought in to make a song for bionicle, it's literally why the band exists and what a lot of people have been fans of them since their first song back in 2007.
On Mata Nui, we learned that no one stood alone. On Metru Nui, we learned that actions, not fate, defined a hero. On Voya Nui, we learned what it means to be determined, to face your fears. On Mahri Nui, we learned what sacrifice truly means. On Karda Nui, we learned to never give up, even in the Darkest Hour. On Bara Magna, we learned that anyone, anywhere, can be a hero. United in Duty, Bound in Destiny. That is the way of the Bionicle.
Hello there. I had no idea where to ask so I'll try here. I'm thinking about trying to recreate some bionicle parts in blender and use them to make actual models. I don't know where to search but i need some kind of place where i could ask for detailed images made from their sides. It was and still is a glory to be in this community and i feel like i need to do something for it. Also it's a nice training for my skills.
2008: the year of Doctor Who series 4, Sonic Unleashed, the start of the MCU and Bionicle Phantoka and Mistika. And this was one of the best songs from the year!

I don't think you guys know what this song make feel a whole generation of now adults who once played with bionicle. I remember watching this and every bionicle video on youtube (when youtube was becoming a thing) and playing with all our sets. Damn nostalgia hitting hard these days, thank you.
In the time before time, on the mysterious island of Mata Nui. six canisters washed ashore on a golden beach and new and powerful legends were born. Tahu, courageous Toa of Fire; Lewa, agile Toa of Air; Gali, noble Toa of Water; Kopaka, powerful Toa of Ice; Onua, wise Toa of Earth; teamed with Pohatu, mighty Toa of Stone. They battled the darkness of evil Makuta and the terrible menaces he unleashed that threatened the Toa and the world. Time would bring new transformations. Amazing weapons, masks, and armor, and new and greater power than ever before. These Toa Nuva would need all their power, all their skill, and all their wisdom to combat more dangerous threats like the Bohrok-Kal, and the dreaded Rahkshi, servants of the evil Makuta. They brought fear, destruction, and doom to Mata Nui. But new allies joined the fight and helped to defeat Makuta. Secrets of an ancient land called Metru Nui were revealed, a land that, long ago, had its own heroes who fought for justice with all their powers and skills, braving any danger to keep their city safe. Challenged by the Vahki, robots programmed to pursue, capture, or destroy, these Toa fought on. Even when turned into nightmare versions of themselves, they never surrendered. Whoever the enemy, whatever the odds, they fought, and they won. In other far away lands, evil continued to grow. Monstrous creatures longing to be unleashed. But the mantle of Toa was worn by new warriors. On a quest to find the legendary Mask of Life, nothing would get in their way, not on land or under the sea. No matter where the Mask of Life might be, no matter who dared to try and possess it with stealth, power, and evil schemes, the Toa would be there. Armed with new masks and weapons, ready to fight to save a universe. With enemies on every side, outnumbered and under attack, stranded in the depths of a strange ocean, and facing monsters beyond imagination, the Toa would find a way to win. No matter what the future may bring, some things will never change, like the courage and daring of true heroes. In 2008, the Toa face their greatest challenge: a battle in the skies at the core of the universe. The Toa Nuva will continue the fight. The final battle is about to begin.
Beneath the endless ocean, in the heart of a massive cave, energy pulses course through rock. Machines which sat immobile for a thousand centuries shudder and slowly move, shaking the universe. Power races through long-disused conduits and streams further and further from Karda Nui. Water ripples around the barren island of Mata Nui, stripped of all life and vegetation by Bohrok hordes. Powerful quakes shake the earth, and massive megaliths of mountain and bedrock crash into the ocean. An immense chasm rips upward through the middle of the doomed island, each side sliding toward the ocean as something massive pushes up from below. Far away, to the south and east and west, water foams and boils as underwater shockwaves spread from the movement beneath the sea. Gigantic whirlpools form and disappear. The sea itself heaves up towards the sky. Two halves of the island churn already-frothing waters as they slide apart and dissolve into the maelstrom. A tremendous head made of metallic protodermis rises from beneath the shattered remains of the once-beautiful island. Water, soil, and rock cascade off its face as it rises higher and higher into the sky. Titanic shoulders breach the ocean, and an equally immense chest pivots upwards. Slowly, the robot climbs to its feet and towers above the clouds for the first time in a hundred thousand years. Yellow light gleams from its eyes as it surveys the ocean below. Mata Nui has risen.
Do you guys even have the slightest clue how many childhoods you have made? how many now grown girls and boys are having nostalgic moments all over the world because of your music? Yes you are the "Bionicle Band" but you made me remind the few joyfull parts of my childhood i thought i had forgotten and i will always be grateful for that. THANK YOU!
I’m feeling the same thing right now. I’m listening this with nostalgia tears in my eyes. This music hits a piece of my soul that is saved just for this track. That… is so powerful.
@@happyjohn354 As (objectively) bad as it was story-wise due to its "disjointed-ness" and the fact that it just didn't have the same feeling to it as the original run you do have to admit that the 2015 through 2016-run did introduce quite a few pieces that work well in tandem with/look good when used with pieces from the original run (like the blade-pieces, Lewa's rotor-blade thingies and Pohatu's boomerangs).
The fact that a "simple toy" created such an huge cult over so many years, from kids to now fullgrown adults is nothing more then amazing. And we got our own soundtrack. Bionicle mean so much more to me then just some figures, since 2011 to eternity.
I remember crying the day I found out that Bionicle was ending. Even so now long from now I feel emotional listening to this song.. Bionicle was truly a phenomenon.

Our *Unity* makes us strong as the Toa. Honoring the BIONICLE Legends is our *Duty* Remembering the BIONICLE Legends is our *Destiny!* It shall forever pass on.

most grow up with THAT ONE song they grew up with, for me THIS was that song, the first time i clicked on that thumbnail on bionicle.com way back in the day, was the moment my life changed, and now, it is like looking back into the face of an old friend, a friend that will always be by your side, a friend, who will always be in my heart now, and until my last living moment.
Really happy to finally have high-quality downloads for both the Niels Brinck and Tine Midtgaard versions of this song. Thank you for releasing them and giving fans the chance to design the cover art! ^_^
I've listened to cryoshell these past 10+ years and loved every song. But This is still my favorite one. But im also a sucker for strong rock male vocals.
This is too amazing to be measured. Thanks for this unique music Cryoshell and Christian Gulberg for creating Rebel Nature, an important message to humanity. Hope you give concerts soon, we shall fly to Denmark for that!
This is so cool to see. And a nice trip down memory lane. The music is definitely one of the reasons 2008 was one of the best years for Bionicle. Well, 2007 too. Those tunes just added so much!
Many people say their pop songs are their anthem, but this is the only song that is going to be one of my anthems because I heard Neil smiled through his singing voice.
Oh my God. I had Spotify on shuffle and this came on. Tears welled up in my eyes and suddenly I became once more that awkward 13-year old, collecting these toys that meant the world to him. I re-lived that trip to the US when I, Bionicle comic in hand, went to every toy store hoping to find a Bionicle I didn’t yet have, listening to this song obsessively every step of the way. So much has happened, I’ve lived so much since, but nevertheless, I miss that kid I used to be. A piece of him lives in this song. Thank you Cryoshell, for bringing that part of me so much joy, and for keeping it safe all these years so that I could encounter it again. These songs, no matter how many years pass, will always mean the world to me and I can never thank you enough.
The Phantoka/Mistika is one of my favorite Bionicle eras of all time, and a big reason is because of this song (which is my favorite song associated with Bionicle hands down). Thank you so much for reuploading this music video :D
I'm thrilled to see Cryoshell making a return! Was introduced to the band through Bionicle (Bye Bye Babylon and Creeping in My Soul were really good), so I'm glad to see Bionicle acknowledged. Super pumped to see what's in store!
I spend most of my time listening to technical death metal and deathcore, yet I don’t think I’ll ever stop coming back to this song. Brings me back to much simpler times, and it’s a comfort no other song can hope to ever accomplish.
It's so nice that Bionicle is still remembered after all these years. I didn't fully keep up with the lore, only watched the movies, read some of the wiki, watched some videos, didn't read the comics or books, but despite that, Bionicle has such a deep rooted place in my heart. Yes, it was crazy but it's craziness is what made it stand out against all the other toy brands. I loved the story, the Voya Nui and Mahri Nui arcs were amazing (Shout Out To Matoro) and the Toa Mahri trailer is one my favorite trailers. God, Bionicle was so good, I wish that it had ended better but all good things must come to an end and Bionicle was amazing while it lasted.
I agree with that and yeah, but the "ending" that it was given was actually (pardon my word-choice) "half-assed" due to subjectively idiotic reasons. Seriously, the fact that it didn't get to keep going like it should've and get an actual proper ending like it should've gotten really, really, really irks me and while the lore might seem weird it's atleast clearly all connected unlike the 2015-2016 run which was honestly pretty pitiful.
This makes me cry…I miss my childhood. If my childhood were to have a theme song…this would be it. I love this song. Thanks for the memories! This song will continue to have a special place in my heart!
One of my favorite songs of all time, possibly favorite. I'll never forget listening to this over narration recapping the entire Bionicle storyline up to that point.
I would listen to this on repeat for years. Coming back in 2021 and realizing my entire life was built around this toy hurts to a point where I cry. The first toy I remember is a Bionical I got from my grandpa who I was close too. Sense then I would sit in my room watching videos about these toys. My grandpa passed away and I never touched them again. now I come back because of a joke I made on discord saying, “Bionical was a bop” I came back and now cry out the lyrics to these songs.
You’re not alone my guy. Had to get rid of all my kits. I didn’t have anything of serious value, but it was valuable to me. Now I’m slowly pieceing my kit back together. I have a CCBS/technic kit that is curated for building giant robots, and I’m using pieces from the entire history of bionicle to make the “TOA EPEKA” super awesome versions of each original 6 toa. I wish I could afford to get my Nuva and my rahkshi and my bohrok back. I had all 6+ muaka and Kane ra.
Listening to this type of music, that was so prevalent in the 2000s, always makes me feel. It all begun with this great song right here. Since it was associated with Biomicles, a franchise I liked, but knew very little about as a kid, musical association with childhood curiosity was only inevitable. The emotional tone of this song only exacerbated these feelings and made me into who I am today. Now every time listen to this genre of rock, I’m filled with nostalgia and wonder - I want to see parts of this world that I can’t reach. What else I don’t know about this world? What was the past like and what did I miss? Thank you Cryoshell. Thank you for these feeling and amazing song.
To this day, this song is still in my Legendary List, it gives me the chills, my childhood and every time I listen to it I always think of the times when I was obsessed with Bionicles and that I’m in the sky flying above the clouds, I love it so much, thank you Cryoshell for making this amazing masterpiece! 🙌😎🔥💖
It's been a while since this song came out. I remember when I was little when they were in the Bionicle videos and I always watched them again from the beginning until I memorized the song. Thank you Lego for creating the best toys that have ever existed and especially to you Cryoshell for creating a wonderful and iconic song
