You say that but we already saw Fragarach. It's probably more likely that there are a shitton of NPs being passed down as family heirlooms all over the world
Fragarach is interesting because they have to manually recreate it. So what Bazett uses is inferior to the actual Fragarach. This Rhongonymiad is the actual thing, no diminishing in power.@@straypaper
@@ransac16 I mean, yes and no. Yeah, Gray is accessing the actual sacred lance with that technique, but like all other forms of mystery it has degraded with time. So, while it's still damn impressive that she can, for even a short while, wield Rhongomyniad, it is still small potatoes compared to when Artoria used it.
To be fair, Gray also has far less personal power to put behind the lance. She doesn't gain Artoria's dragon core until after the 5th Holy Grail War and she wasn't trained or raised as a proper magus.@@palladin1337
@@palladin1337 The decay of mystery only applies if the object in question is divine in origin from the age of gods. Both Excalibur and Rhongo originate from the earth, thus they do not suffer the separation from the age of gods as they both don't have mystery. In fact Rhongomyniad is the reason the divine textures such as the heavens and underworld are held beneath the earth, its in the chant, "Sweet mysteries I condemn thee to oblivion." They don't need mystery to be that powerful. Also not all objects loose mystery over time, some can accumulate it through ley lines. This is seen in the Ainzburn pillar the weapon Hercules wields in the 5th holy grail war.
The true Rhongomyniad was so Goddamn OP IT LITERALLY SHATTERS REALITIES! No. It can literally do that as it´s purpose it to make a breach betwen the world and the reverse side of the world that was divided back when the age of gods ended wich means Artoria lancer can just destroy the world by collapsing this reality with another one or create a portal to bring back literal Godlike entities from the reverse side of the world.
@@Niccogamer01 It's almost on the same level as EA as both of them can mess with the layers of the World. Just imagine Arthuria dual-wielding both Rhongomyniad and Excalibur without imposing 13 seals on them and losing Avalon. I really doubt that even Gilgamesh can defeat her in that state.
@@tatinh9885 indeed he Can't. Artoria with both Rhongomyniad and Excalibur would be so OP not even the Counter force could possibly summon her on that state wich is why the only version of Artoria who could possibly do such a feat is the Fate stay night one as that's the one that managed to reach Avalon and had Excalibur, with just that combo she destroyed Gilgamesh so just to imagine that ver who has unlimuted Magical energy thanks to Avalon also use Rhongomyniad is beyond INSANITY
I find it intriguing that Albion the Grand among True Dragons spent its entire life time to dig a hole to Reverse Side but failed, but a modern mage successfully opened a portal to Fairy Realm by capturing a fairy. I wonder if Aturia could sense Rhongomyniad since she is residing in Avalon located in Fairy Realm.
Fun fact, barghest are still seen in London and haven’t actually been whipped out sooooo barghest is still in pan human history only that she isn’t able to turn into a human fairy like creature because the age of mystic has ended
Yes but no: Barghest is the Black Dog in British mythology, but the only reason why we have the humanoid fairy Barghest is because of the King of Mors’ curse, the Lb6 denizens did speculate about if Barghest was a changeling(from the PHH) or if her appearance was due to a representation of the King of Mors curse but most likely the latter because king of mors probs did it for Barghest to consume a lot of the fae
She's not Arthuria. Her bloodline was infatuated with the origial Arthuria and the idea of reviving her in this day and age, while serving as the guardians of Rhogomyniad, the sacred lance. So before her birth they implanted her with the essence of the original Arthuria's physical body, so she slowly started to resemble her more and more. This caused a big conflict within her and an identity crisis. Well, needless to say, they didn't manage to revive Arthuria. Not that it would ever be possible anyway.
@@duskbringer4583 Servants aren't alive. King Arthur is long dead. I am not sure what you mean. One requirement to be recorded as a heroic spirit in the throne of heroes is to be dead, amongst other things.
I mean, it literally is a Noble Phantasm, Avalon is still a Noble Phantasm in Stay Night and Zero despite it being the real life Avalon and not the Avalon summoned with a servant.
Noble Phantasms are still considered NPs if they are the actual physical artifact and not just the servant's reconstruction. This has been the case since Avalon in FSN, or at maximum Bazett's Fragarach in Hollow Ataraxia
Noble Phantasms don't need to be wielded by a Servant to be Noble Phantasms. Kanshou & Bakuya are stated to be NPs without belonging to an HS (since they haven't been wielded by anyone notable and the makers don't qualify as HS), and then yeah there are all the cases of NPs that have perdured to the present day in their physical form, be it Avalon, Rhongomyniad, or even the Godfelling Crossbow.
No way, Rhongomyniad is a EX-Rank Divine Phantasm(Which is naturally all kinds of impossible for EMIYA to trace) but it is also a lance not a sword so no “Incarnation of a Sword” Bonus, heck it ain’t even a slashing/bladed weapon like Harpe. Even worse, it’s technically more a *tower* than a lance.
@@actuallyreallybored3552 okay i think you forgot a few things about EMIYA 1. We know EMIYA can make a copy of a devine construct even non sword example being avalon where an inexperienced shirou managed to make a copy of avalon so i don't see why a more experienced version of him can't also do so 2. EMIYA projection isn't the weapon itself it's just a very similar copy of it example being excalibur image it's not the same sword as excalibur just a very convincing copy. 3. The reason why EMIYA can even do this kind of thing is because his connection with both avalon and artoria. So EMIYA most likely have a copy of rhongomyniad in it's lace form (because that's what form artoria use it's the most) in ubw
@@actuallyreallybored3552 this is my interpretation anyway, i know that there are a few hole here and there but this is fate since when there aren't a few holes in the story. So for now the only thing we can do is speculate what is and isn't possible until nasu confirmed it which hopefully doesn't have any plotholes
@@andikaaherdiyanto917 Shirou can project Avalon because it was *literally inside him for years.* Excalibur has explicitly been stated to only be able to traced in “special environments” like the Moon Cell. Even then he can only trace a highly degraded copy. Other Divine Phantasms(AKA Ig Alima) are just hollow copies too. EMIYA and Shirou have access to a large number of Noble Phantasms that they have encountered during their lifetimes, which include Caladbolg, Durandal, Hrunting, Kanshou and Bakuya, Rho Aias, and numerous weapons from the Gate of Babylon. Divine Constructs, such as Ea and Excalibur, are unable to be replicated under normal conditions. EMIYA claims that it is possible to reproduce an imperfect version of Excalibur(Not any other Divine Contruct, but the one he has the actual sheath for and also is perfectly matching with his sword affinity), but this is likely to drain him of all of his Magical Energy and would be a suicide attack. The conditions for where wrought iron is possible are enhanced within the Moon Cell, removing the limitation and allowing for the Projection of holy sword-class weaponry. Their performance is still inferior to the actual weapons, limiting No Name to projecting a degraded version of Excalibur, Excalibur Image. Characters in the world of Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA show some ability to replicate Divine Constructs -by being cheating wieners- through special means. Even in Moon Cell conditions he still can only reproduce Divine *Sword* Phantasms. UBW only contains things Shirou can project as it analyzes and reproduces weapons and defensive armaments seen by the user. Ergo, Rhongomyniad, which he cannot begin comprehending, is impossible for him to have.
@@actuallyreallybored3552this guy is right. Excalibur and Avalon are exceptions. Avalon was basically the thing that reconstituted his *being* as a child and saved him from the Fire. The only times we see anyone make a divine construct of any kind outside of the Moon Cell is an Excalibur by Illya and Kuro using the Emiya class card either as a *full and functional* Holy Grail or as a Full Release of the Kaleidosticks activating the 2nd Magic Kaleidoscope to give them literally infinite magical energy in conjunction with *Artoria's* Class Card and that was more like summoning 12 Excaliburs chain summoned from 12 different parallel worlds.
That Generic Yellow Energy Blast you are talking about is a Highly Concentrated or Condensed Energy of Rhongomyniad that can disintegrate anything on it's path and that thing is sealed with 13 of it and just now in the vid it only unsealed 2 of it😅😂😅😂😅😂
@@DarkaiXenoBecause it's literally a lance that when fully released of its restraints can shatter reality and basically bring about the worlds end. Even if it can look underwhelming, this is a very nerfed version of its real potential and its still very powerful in this form. For sheer scale of how deadly it can be check out Camelot movies.
Rhongominiad has been in fate since Fate/Stay Night or maybe Garden of Avalon. It was also shown in Fate/Apocrypha and was used during Fate/Grand Order: Camelot Movies
