Juvia mastered a blood transfusion spell because of that one time that Gray died 😭 no one was around to save him then not even her😭 she remembered it happening and couldn't stand the thought of it happening again but this time for good😭😭 if that ain't love then idk what is😭❤ this scene broke me

That's a great point. Although, I doubt that a blood transfusion would've worked against a shot in the face with a baseball-sized laser. Also, in my opinion, the only thing that scene was missing was rain suddenly pouring from the sky (due to how Juvia's power works). And made more clear by the lack of rain after they "restarted at the last checkpoint."

Idk🤷🏽‍♀️ That's what I was expecting too! I expected it to rain when Gray died. I was a little disappointed:(

Juvia survived because Wendy saw Juvia's death in her preminition. After Wendy saw it she rushed right away to Gray and Juvia's place to rescue and heal her. Since the incident, Gray shows more care towards Juvia but he still is tsundere afterall. I think he fears to lose her again. Just like how humans are... You cannot see their true worth until you lose them.

Gray didn’t friendzone her here cuz he corrected himself. At first he says. “ I didn’t want to hurt a friend,” but corrects himself by saying. “I mean You.” He placed emphasis on her. It’s the same thing as “no, I mean you”. He didn’t want this to ever happen to her. He goes farther to say that he wanted to protect her. He was sorry he couldn’t do that. But Juvia said, “ no, it’s okay I’m happy” Bc she found out he felt the same. If Gray friendzoned her, it wouldn’t make sense with the rest of the scene. She would be depressed instead of happy. I hope this helps ^^

you really should! it’s not like typical action packed anime, while it does have some action, it actually focuses more on friendship and the development in relationships! throughout the show it has some really amazing characters in it, with really amazing depth and backstories! it may not be the best plot wise, but it’s one of my favorite animes i’ve ever watched, considering i got so attached to all the characters lol

After reading the manga, rewatching the whole series, and watching this clip, I'm still curious if Gray really kissed Juvia before going badass berserk when he thought that Juvia died? I mean, Juvia said it, but Carla said that it might be just her imagination. But I think it's true? There's this bird eye shot/angle wherein we can't see anyway. Maybe Hiro Mashima intended the scene for us to speculate on our own, just like what he did to NaLu when Lucy said that she can't get married anymore then Natsu seems to have something important to tell on her but just brushed it off like it's nothing. Hiro-sensei, we need answers!😭🤡

Even in 100 years quest Gray said so fucking many times what Juvia means for him, that he want to make her happy, he is in love with her and has feeling for her LOL AND HE EVEN IMAGINED/ DREAMED ABOUT FUTURE WITH HER DURING THAT FIGHT WITH GIRL IN MANGA.
