@@BlueAare you dumb… naruto had amazing sakuga, animation and direction. let’s name few more old animes. evangelion has very fluid and amazing sakuga for large scale fight. one piece had very good impacts. dragon ball had amazing animation for fights that really mattered. compared to all those shows, fairy tail did shit
Bro Fr the fights are not properly presented Naruto had wayyy better fights ,I feel like they can make it the best most anime if they fights were imagined better. Problem 2 .one shots after powerups Problem 3 Nerfs to characters we seemed Op ,Minerava and kagura If all those are fixed esp animation wise show is over all

Natsu and gajeel vs sting and rogue one of my favs I just love how natsu took that beat down and came back and defeated both while they used dragon force
For Gray and Lyon vs racer, my opinion by the way, would not really make it for me. Probably because I'd rather choose fights that doesn't do the whole "this guy is too strong! But wait, i can see something in the distance, he actually has a range of random number that's somehow true!" But like i said, it's just my opinion
@@enigmatic2878 I think it's cool cause of story progression where a true development and the act of moving forward for Gray and Lyon really showed. Also Racer may not be that strong in Grand scheme of things but it felt more like a chess match. Gray and Racer kept exchanging different techniques to give each other the edge that wasn't straight up getting stronger. It felt more unique that it was won by brains rather than brawn.
@@dytrus8203 no yeah, winning by brains over brawn and the two students workijg together was great. The fact that it was brain over brawn... or more of brain vs brain i guess since racer's magic isn't raw power, gives it an edge compared to a lot of fights where it would come down to just becoming a more brute force than the opponent. What I mean was they could've used brains and teamwork to find a way to beat racer whilst in his slowing range instead of the whole i can beat him with range. My explanation was crap, and i'm not sure if you grt what i mean. Also, plot hole: wouldn't Gray's ice arrow slow down when it got near racer? Since Racer turned around when Gray shot the arrow, he would've seen the arrow heading towards him, so when it slows down he had more than enough time to move out of the way. I know he's not like speed of sound kind of fast (since we've seen him get stopped by Gray whilst in his range a couple time already) but he should still have the reaction time for it
@@enigmatic2878 well to explain it Lyon had primary attention and with the bird scene being out of range to Racer that arrow flies at like the speed of sound until it reaches the range. Cause remember Gray managed to have his ice wall hit him and destroy some of his bikes. So when it seems like he's shocked or scared his reaction is slowed since that happened with Mira fight too.
Well to be fair, you can't just immediately melt ice. With flames like Natsu's, sure. But since he and Gray are pretty much the same magic strength during that fight, ice won't get melted quickly. The fact that it's magic gives it a completely different story
Eh... it's not really a fight and more of a beatdown from one side going to the other. A good fight would have both sides dish some damage instead of just ome half of it having A lose and the other half having B lose.
Fight scenes are really boring with these frozen frames and shot. Edens Zero actually has a good plot and story, it'd be nice if the fight scenes get better there.
Decided to finish the final season which I left out about 6 years ago.. damn the whole Fairy Tail seems a lot worse than it was because of this bad fight scenes... I know it is impossible to make every fight interesting but come on there are no real one on ones just freezed pictures.. how did I love this show that much?
@@sorcererkiller15007 I am on the same page. I might dislike the series but I am still interested in watching from time to time after only having seen the first 60 or so episodes a couple of years and the first 20 a few months ago. But then, every time I feel like it, I remember that this won't be anything like One Piece or any other series with a good story or comedy (or art, music, cinematography, action etc.) but just plain boring for 95% of the time.
@@hexcodeff6624 true unfortunately but Edens Zero so far was pretty entertaining if you ask me just from the first 2 episodes I like it more than fairy tail and of you don't know what Edens Zero is it's from the creator of fairy tail but the story telling and action is different from what I've been told and their is no power of friendship bs in it either

But seeing all the Fairy Tail characters being reused doesn't set my expectations very high for this one either, not to speak of the actual first couple of pages in the manga. And before you tell me, I know that Mashima reused designs from Rave Master for Fairy Tail too.
@@hexcodeff6624 yeah true but the thing that intrigues me is the space aspect of it, it definitely feels like one piece and Fairy tail put into one but hopefully it turns out pretty good
As a big naruto fan and a fairy tail hater I can say that's false because Naruto has had it's fair share of bad animation but it's top tier fights are definitely better than all of these fights but I can't say the worst fights are better than these
@@sorcererkiller15007 I use to love fairy tail as a beginner week but when I becamw a pro I realized that how trash fairy tail was (mostly the animation) after ascending into god week hood I now only watch extremely classical anime from the 1990s and only top tier good anime or extremely good underrated anime. I have virtually stopped watching average anime. Now I also realize that a good anime doesn' exactlht need amazing animation to be good e.g (black clover) I guess I couldn't say black clover because it has its fair share of amazing fights but I wish you a good day anyway all so I am a huge black clover lover so there is that.
