@@taltagteamchampsdifference is Vader was in a different country (an Arab country mind you, I think Qatar or Kuwait) so he was jailed after that happened. Waller is pretty much safe here, only a stupid lawsuit can get him in trouble by an oridinary US citizen.
@@luisa.barrueta1822 it was Kuwait. I was saying as in a reporter saying something that piss off a wrestler. But yeah you are right the Vader thing was a lot worse.
Apparently, the interview was already getting weird when the hosts asked Knight and Waller to "do some signature moves" as some sort of demonstration. Yes, they are performers and though they aren't trying to hurt each other, they can still get seriously hurt doing what they do. So "some signature moves" is not something they can do on the spot like a singer or a dancer. It's like asking a stunt performer to jump through that random nearby glass window as if they were a show dog being made to jump through hoops. Then the stage manager steps in and squares up in a mocking way. They may be wrestlers, but would you do that to athletes in actual combat sports like boxing or MMA, or even just to anyone else on the street for that matter? Are you even daring to do that because "wrestling's fake" and you don't think you'll get hurt? The hosts and the crew of this morning show are clueless at best and outright disrespectful at worst.
agree.. the hosts are trying the worst not to ask them "are wrestling is fake?".. like bruh wtf with that signature moves question, it's just like asking a Boxer "hey can I see you uppercut somebody here".
I hate the phrase "wrestling is fake" Its not. Its scripted, the moves and bumps these people take are insane, and they put their bodies on the line week in week out. In movies and TV shows they get multiple takes to perfect a scene. Wrestlers get one take in front of live crowds, and every move is scrutinized to no end. Its just plain disrespect to say its fake.
Watch hogan and Mr T during their interview about it being fake in the 80s. Also there’s another guy. Takes it to heart. Slaps an interviewer hard for the same question it’s like a wrestling rule. Don’t ask if it’s fake for the camera or you will have to sell it
NEVER act all playful fighting around a wrestler, like wrestling is a game. These guys break their bodies in the ring no matter scripted or not. And I think it's stupid to ask a wrestler to do his finisher on you. 9 out of 10 that won't end well for the person taking it. So Good on Grayson reminding people that wrestling isn't a joke.
@@paulkendrick4153so are movies but we still watch them. Doesn't matter if it is fake they still can be a tough person. They work hard and they want to hear that. I'm sure you don't want to be called a lazy person at your job
@@paulkendrick4153It’s scripted, yes. And performers pull their punches in order to not actually hurt anyone. However, if even the guy taking the move doesn’t know how to take it, it can cause injury. That is important to understand,
@@paulkendrick4153the pain from the moves isn’t fake. There is a difference between fake and scripted. Learn it before you say that ignorant thing again.
@@dylansteele4918 I'm well aware of his run in NXT, I'm talking about now, with his current gimmick. It doesn't seem like it will change anytime soon (though I wish he'd at least be booked to win more, rather than job so much).
@VincentEllis-John8-12what? You expect him to actually lay him out on live TV? You're an idiot. He set things straight with words an didn't take disrespect.
Olympic freestyle or greco is a real wrestler that indeed knows how to fight. These guys may be athletic and may know some moves that will work on non resisting partners but they are no real wrestlers as this term is reserved to olhmpic wrestling athletes
So I think the hosts of this show wanted either LA Knight or Waller to demonstrate their wrestling signature moves on the show’s stage manager but the manager started mocking them as if it were a real fight and Waller took it serious cuz 1. He doesn’t want to hurt someone 2. Even tho they’re performers and not legitimately trying to hurt someone, Waller saw that guy trying to square him up as a form of disrespect (basically saying it’s fake)
