@@808dude7 man la knight say sht I don’t want to do that that’s not for me lol looks over at Greyson and says you take this one lol Greyson put on his big boy pants and stood on bidness plus this a morning show called sunrise that has a history of doing this type sht to they guest so I know for a fact it’s not a work
It’s kind of similar to that Vader and Undertaker situation with that Indian reporter talking about wrestling being fake. (I know that reporter was just doing his job and Vader went too far putting his hands on him so I’m not condoning physical assault, I’m just making a comparison here.) Like Vader, Grayson is getting up and getting more aggressive as he feels that wrestling is being disrespected, and LA Knight is just sitting there calm and collected watching everything unfold just like the undertaker being stone cold silent and calm while watching Vader get agitated by the reporter.
These people dont understand that these kind of moves require that both parties know what their doing, and one slip up one or multiple people can be injured. The guys think "hehe haha wrestling is fake so and joe can causally take a stunner, BFT etc" with 0 practice/experience
If this was kayfabe, he wouldn't be chilling next to a babyface that he's had a lot of on-screen beef with. 🤣 This is just a pro wrestler that respects the business enough that he's about to throw hands.
Never understood how people think that these professional athletes can’t/won’t knock the average guys head off with little to no ease. This seems like a work though and if it was, perfect.
LA Knight tried explaining very nicely that this ain't a game, they didn't listen, so Grayson stood up and said it louder for the people in the back. Amazing stuff
Glad he stood up for himself and his business. I’ve been a fan of wrestling for almost 40 years now and it always ticks me off that some idiots have to make a joke out of it. It’s not a joke and those haters need to be smacked like Dr. D did to John Stossel. Stossel is a jerk and always acts like his you know what don’t stink. All he does is act like a hater and is a whiny brat. My respect level has gone way up for Grayson and ty to him for defending the business and his peers.
You're a doofus. Lol, wrestling has been booked like a joke for 23 years. They expose it every second of the day. But some wrestler pretends to want to fight a reporter because he joked with him. That should fix things lol
Epic respect for Grayson Waller defending professional wrestling and not being afraid to tell it like it is by letting them know that those wrestlers take their job seriously and the injuries they suffered are totally real and most of the time careers are cut short so no one should ever call it fake down the line.
Grayson has a very bright future in WWE,he needs just to do some more gym and get even more pumped and he will be a top start very soon his mic skills are already pretty good.
I saw the whole interview, it does not seem like a work to me. Notice that although Grayson and LA are not friends (at least their in ring characters are not), Grayson chastise the staff saying they shouldn’t disrespect “US” which basically means the wrestling industry as a whole. If it was a work, I would have expected for him to say don’t disrespect “me”. The request by the host for LA Knight to perform one of his moves during an interview was absolutely ridiculous in the first place. They clearly do not understand these wrestling performers are trained on how to take the moves and if not done right they could get seriously injured. Even the seasoned wrestlers get injured when taking or even executing moves during matches.

Shoutout to Grayson & LA for being solid. More wrestlers need to follow suit. And those who don't know Grayson is a trained boxer so he lowkey could've just tapped buddy's jaw really quick and been done with it.
@@xfacta334 lol you wrestling fans are so funny. What was the disrespect exactly? These guys are actors and they were asked to preform... they weren't asking to bring buddy up to the top ropes and suplex the guy. Just have a little fun with it and toss him in a sleeper hold or something. Actually getting all but hurt and threatening to punch a random guy in the face just for trying to have some fun is pathetic. Don't act tough because you fake fight for a living... it's embarrassing
@@lifeofbru8929 Thanks for letting everybody know you havent been high quality at anything in your life. Hey Denzel, can you perform a piece of your new movie for us right here on the spot? Hey Floyd, before you go can you hit me with a left hook real quick? Hey LeBron, before you go we got a ball and a basket right there....wanna play some 1 on 1? Hey Dave, can you perform some jokes for us right now on the spot? Hey Brock, last question....can I experience an F5 and take a trip to Suplex City before you go? That's how you sound. We politely tell you no and in some cases remind you that I'm a professional in my craft and I'm not your dancing monkey. She specifically asked for LA to hit the BFT (his finisher) on her untrained co-host. How was he supposed to do that without risking himself, the co host and/or ruining the move? "No, im not doing that. I will hurt him in here." Then the production guy comes out thinking he could take Grayson. Those of us who have been in a fight before recognize the "size up" when it happens. His reaction was warranted. Even in your example here a sleeper hold is a rear naked choke, I can legit end your life in 10 seconds with that move.....you wouldn't know what to do once I lock it on, untrained person. Now I'm wrong because nerds like you said "just have a little fun with it". Here's a little secret buddy, to learn how to do the "fake" moves.....you have to learn how to do the real ones first. When you're trained for something it's your duty to make sure the untrained stay in their untrained place. You play around with children & family, not random adults. Now run along your presence is disrespectful to my comment section.
LA looked pissed but calm, since he's a face he can't do anything But Grayson's a heel and he can damn sure say anything he wants to protect the business, kudos to him.
@@raymonddouglas1222 News flash! It's scripted but you take a chop from Gunther or a suplex from someone or fall off of a ladder and tell me it doesn't hurt. I've been in a ring. I've done the training. Don't tell me anything about it being "fake"!
@@raymonddouglas1222 When a guy jumped a ring thinking he was hot shit, Triple H laid him out with a german suplex. These guys are athletes that can knock out an average joe with or without formal training.
Although it might sound stupid, but I just really want this to be real. He really earned my respect here and if it was just a way to play with our minds, then I'll feel betrayed.

This is Australia, where we think we're smarter than the rest of the world by virtue of the fact that we had it great up until the 1990s. Now the world laughs at our simple, backwards, hillbilly ways and we think they're laughing with us, not at us. This was embarassing.
Something’s telling me with the way the DCTRL storyline is going, with Dakota being all shady towards Bayley nowadays, that possibly Dakota returns at the Rumble, and exiles Bayley by throwing her over. I honestly could even see Dakota getting the win for some reason. I just feel that would be such an unexpected turn of events.
LA Knight chilling in the background during Grayson’s dressing down of the staff reminds me of when Vader grabbed that one reporter while Undertaker was just sitting & watching with his shades on. Like, “I won’t stop this. Let nature take its course.” American badass indeed.
The reason LA sat there was because he's a face so he was also keeping kayfabe. He told Grayson that he could take this one so he probably wasn't too happy himself but he let the heel take care of business. Smart moves from both guys tbh
Good observation because that makes perfect sense. Same exact thing happened when a reporter disrespected wrestling and Vader (heel)went off and him and Undertaker(face) just sat there chill as can be.
Don't get me wrong, these wrestlers can also fight. Most of them work out or train like an MMA fighter does. Even if they are just play fighting in the ring, you mess with them and it's over.
People need to understand that shit actually hurts unless you’ve stepped in the ring, take a suplex, a backbreaker, or even done a bump you have zero room to run your freaking mouth.
I support Grayson fully in this. It takes lots of practice to do wrestling moves safely, even the punches. If one lands badly just from being held wrong in the grapple, then the neck - for example, can break in the landing. Good for Grayson for speaking up like this.
Grayson is a real one. That would’ve upset me too, stop taking WWE as a game. All of them risk their lives each time they step in they ring and they wanna play around talk about do a finishing move with some random dude thinking he tough playing around i would’ve smacked bro and they hosts because they green lighted the whole thing fr.
I mean…nowadays today’s Sports Entertainment fans be trying to tell Jim Cornette to stop taking everything serious…but now Grayson Waller “defends” the business? I don’t get it 🤦🏾♂️
It more has to do with defending the people in the wrestling business. They'll say stuff like, "Oh it's all fake. They're not athletes. They're not actually hitting each other. Blah blah blah." Basically telling someone that what they do doesn't matter because it's all fake. It's disrespectful to the wrestlers who put their bodies on the line to entertain people. Especially to those who have been injured in wrestling.

@@policepolicepolice This wasn't a work to give Waller the spotlight or whatever. It's a work to put these ridiculous claims to bed. Clearly your opinion just like Pllana's was too biased, because while I agree that no one should disrespect professional wrestling in this kind of manner, we still need to have an unbiased opinion to tell if this is a work or a shoot.
Guy said something in 0:40 Very hard to hear but some say it was something like a fake punch and was ready to drop down for a kayfabe punch Grayson prob didnt get the memo on the thing and went full on aggressive mode XD
Wrestling isnt fake, its scripted, they literally do there own stunts. I can never understand the idiots who keep saying its fake, clown on it . Go to a ring and take a bump, tell me its "fake". But hey noone every says Movies or Tv shows are fake. Waller did what Vader did on that talk show where taker was there and Vader was about to eat him alive. Dude probs wouldnt keep the same energy to actor/actress, since acting and wrestling are very similar.
Ugh, all he had to say was "unfortunately a wrestling move done on a non wrestler is risky and could end in someone getting seriously hurt. So I'll have to pass." I think he got worked up for no reason.
Kudos to Waller and Knight for punking out these 2 punks!!!! Pro wrestling is NOT fake, even the Mulkey Boys took more punishment in a week the haters take in 100 years!!!!❤😊
I’m glad Grayson took care of it. He earned my respect due to him staying in character with the Taylor Swift stuff but this earns my respect even more. Love to see it
Growing up a wrestling fan, you always come across those people who give you shit for liking it. This was that same type of energy. Got a lot of respect for him now.
This is why I literally only watch sport on television and nothing else. I was overjoyed when I found out that I got WWE and AEW in my sports streaming package.
