I remember a radio broadcast live in tornado conditions and they did not go off the air even the business they were hiding was being blown away starting with the roof
EVERYBODY stayed extremely calm during that hit. ... especially the lady who worked for Marathon. That caring gentleman was absoultly right when he asked God to Bless the staff at Marathon for letting everyone in for safety when they did. ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤
First time ever since I'm like this happened before a live news broadcast in a tornado period never seen like this before usually I see someone in the studio doing this not a live report
I would of dove under a table or run for the nearest walk in cooler or closet!!!! That's an uncertain moment in time where your not sure if you're going to be blasted by flying debris like ceilings and wall's or getting sucked up in to a blender !!!! If your fortunate to have a basement it certainly would help the nerves!!!
@J. C. No such category. If it were EF-5, it would've torn the place to shreds. It was EF-2 at max intensity but appears to have done EF-1 damage to the gas station. www.weather.gov/bmx/event_04282014graysville
It was an low EF3 3/4 mile wide and lasted 2 minutes at 10:30pm. The Gas station was on the outside edge of it. Me, my wife, and 3 kids survived it in the crawl space under our home. Had close to $160K in damage/loss. 3 homes in a 100 yards radius from ours were completely destroyed. Still empty lots to this day. Our neighbor's house twisted three feet on the foundation. Lucky for us, we were able to fix our home, but didn't live in it for 4 months. Also, no loss of life from the storm.
