I like how raw yet "hitting" it is. For some reason the combination of the actual guitar sound and the backing track reminds me of my youth. It's Friday, and it's a warm summer evening, and me and the lads are going to a rehearsal studio...
Wow....awesome playing. I've got 2021 black Affinity Stratocaster with the maple fretboard....yours definitely sounds better than my butchering. Subscribed.
Haha thanks man! Glad you dig it! The secret is really an amp sim pedal before the amp. In my case it's a cheap Joyo American Sound pedal. 50 bucks US. Thanks for subscribing!
I just watched again and really like your playing and sound. I've got a Caline Pure Sky drive pedal I put in front of my amp and am loving it. Keep playing, man you are fantastic.
@@williamanderson2203 Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback! I haven't tried a Caline product as yet but I'm sure they're good for the money. I will resume posting content sometime this week; I am currently busy working on material outside of this project. Cheers!
@@kadeemward In 2003 and perhaps 2004 Affinitys only came in metallic blue and metallic red. I have an Affinity from the first year of the series, 1997. They only came in black and white then. Mine is black...but I wish it were white.
@@kadeemward The first ones had full sized Strat bodies, not the slimmer ones that came later, I think in 2000. I believe Squier called the color of your Strat Baltic Blue.
Just playing the notes in a blues scale is NOT the blues! Focus on playing the right notes and not just as many notes as you can fit into a measure! ;-)
@@kadeemward There’s a difference between playing fast and cramming as many notes as you can into a solo. Besides, the blues isn’t even about playing guitar. So accusing someone of just simply playing the notes in the blues scale and it not being the blues is irrelevant. The blues is about THE BLUES. Just play what you feel.
