This show has some good animation like that blood sucking scene and you noticed she doesn’t have a reflection in the mirror in the elevator.

Yall defo will like this one, it’s not your typical romcom. It’s really good, so I’m excited for the later episodes. And the visual with the purple, blue and pink colors is just perfect

the manga is amazing. although when reading i wasn't expecting as much color in the night. You can sort of consider it Slice of Night for the beginning. They constantly change directions every time you think they're going to go the typical vampire story route. It's one of the most original vampire lore's I've read. It's definitely worth sticking with if they do it right with the manga once the story really starts popping off.

Ya know this never even felt like a real rom com to me. I mean not in what we've had so far. There isn't actually a lot of romance, but rather a sort of false veil of romance from a protaganist who doesn't even know what love is.

Not your typical romcom. In many ways it seems to be a story about coming to grips with problems from one's youth and what the world expects from them to be "normal." The vampires in many ways are escapist fantasies of just running away from all your problems and the consequences that can come with that

Japan is manly known for their rom-com series.

Apparently the creator of 'Call of the Night' has been a big fan of Toga from MHA before 'Call of the Night' manga was released - so Nazuna's design could be Toga inspired. They drew fan art of Toga and mentioned how cute she was. lol
