Happy National Beer Day!!
This week we eat and drink our way through the Texas Hill Country.
We visit 6 BBQ joints and 6 craft breweries in 6 small towns: Driftwood TX, Dripping Springs TX: Blanco TX, Marble Falls TX, Llano TX and Johnson City TX.
We share our experience with each restaurant and brewery to help you decide where you might want to visit on your next Texas Hill Country adventure.
We love supporting small businesses as we explore small town America. Some of the places we visit in this video are legendary names in Texas and others are hidden gems that you've probably never heard of. But they were all worth adding to your travels.
This was a really fun video to film over the course of 3 weeks and we look forward to visiting all of these places again in the future.

Those are some beautiful areas you all covered in the video!!! We just drove through Marbel falls and Blanco today on the way home from Lampasas!!! We saw the sign for save the world brewing. That sounds like some great people that own that place. We are going to stop by there on our next trip through there!!! You all have a wonderful day!!!😊

We are down in Rio Frio near Garner State park right now for the solar eclipse, when we leave here on Tuesday we are going to spend a couple of nights in Llano, on the way to where we are now, we spent a couple of nights in San Marcos.

Fun. Tom, as my husband's "barber" I get the hair and beard. He trims the beard when I cut his hair about every three months or when we have a viewing or funeral to go to😥. Two words when it comes to Texas beer...Shiner Bock.

Drove by Salt Lick last night. That place gets absolutely packed on the weekends. It's a good vibe and the food there is awesome. Unfortunately bbq is so dang expensive these days. Next time you're in the area you should try Terry Black's closer to downtown Austin.

I've been to hill country many times. Been to Rudys and Black's. Well I tried Salk Lick and WOW. My new favorite. How the heck are you guys not 300lbs? :)

That really looked like some great BBQ. Outside of Texas, BBQ has become bougie... and it's getting that way in some of the larger Texas cities as well. For that matter, eating out is quickly becoming a luxury item that we just can't justify with inflation the way it is. Brisket has become just obscenely over-priced

@@rvamericayall Unfortunately, it seems to be very rare that things ever come down in price to where they were. Gas being one of the odd exceptions. Once they're able to sell $12 Big Macs, there's no going back. Especially with minimum wage being jacked up to $15-20 in a lot of states.

Coopers is really more about the experience of it all and the sides! The free beans are really nice and good but I agree that the BBQ is just average for the Area.

This is funny! We watch RV America, "the Original, RV America"! I don't understand why you would take over their name and add Ya'll. Why do this when you had a successful site anyway? You commented on their channel before so you did know they used @RvAmerica as their channel name.

Hey y'all. Sorry for the misunderstanding. We registered RVAmericaYall.com and the name RV America Y'all on a variety of platforms beginning back in 2013. We knew that as our travels expanded beyond Texas, it would make more sense and be more in line with the content we created. The change in our brand wasn't about taking over anyone's name.

@mcneilsonwheels8392 We’re not going to argue the point with you. We secured the name RV America Y’all on RU-vid prior to 2018. Traveling most of the year outside of Texas and all across America, our original name RV Texas Y’all no longer matched our content. RV America Y’all was the obvious brand transition for us, which is why we already secured the name here, on other social platforms and bought the URL years before. Channels change their names here all the time. Sometimes, multiple channels have the same name. These are 2 different channel names. If you don’t like our content or have a problem with us, you don’t have to watch our videos. That’s okay. We are sorry this has offended you. That was never our intention. We work very hard to be a positive, supportive voice for the RV community. We are not RV America. We don’t ever claim to be RV America. We are RV America Y’all.
