O…M…Goshhhhh those burgers look amazing!!! I’ve never had Blue cheese or collard greens before, but y’all make me want to try both!! What a cute place and the singing cook is priceless!!
Yes Christy I love blue cheese ! Both burgers looked yummy. Brooks and Christy, the next time you cook greens try 2-3 tablespoons of black strap molasses. Start your big ol ham hock-in the bottom of the pan with a 1/2 sick butter let it get to cooking real good add the molasses then one carton of chicken stock red pepper flakes bring to a boil add the greens of choice and cook to tender. The best pot of greens ever 😊great video. Thank you for sharing and God Bless
Love your videos and following you both around. You could tell you all were enjoying the food . Really, really love spending time at your table. Thanks again.❤️
Hi Guys we recently returned back to the UK .we were on an American car holiday and stopping at Gatlinburg and ate at the Timber log cabin. 10/10 rating from us ! On diets at the moment as the British people are very healthy conscious. Loved America xxxxxxxxx
Love finding places like this! What a treat that the cinnamon roll place is next door. I’ve heard about it. Thanks for sharing! You guys are a pleasure to watch! Keep spreading that light!
Yet ANOTHER place to add to our "gotta try that" list for our next trip to the mountains! Curt is a HUGE burger lover AND a lover of tomato soup so.....oh yeah! Thanks and God bless you.
We just love y'all so much! I'd eat at that place just because the owners seem to love what they do and that's got to reflect back into the food. Burgers are my favorite and both of those look fantastic! Love bleu cheese on my burgers! Great video!
Looks so good! Prices are fair also. Especially for such quality ingredients. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for taking us along. I’ve not been there to the arts district. I’ll go one day for sure
Thanks you guys for this Timbers review, never have seen it or heard about that restaurant, food looks great and we will need to check that out when we come next time...Love all the decorations and lighting in there and the hand written and colored pictures hanging all over the walls...
I love bleu cheese especially a creamy bleu chunked up and put on a steak just a minute or so before it’s finished cooking! Brooks, you had the ultimate burger in my opinion, beef, sausage, bacon just can’t be beat!! All of that food looked so delicious! Thanks for another great video!!!
I love blue cheese Christy, just like you! I love hamburgers too! Unfortunately, I had bariatric surgery seven years ago and I can not eat meat. Boy I miss food!!
Christy photographs rental properties here in the Smokies. No vlog on that one. She does vlog them sometimes. It's been so busy lately just no time to do it. Thanks so much for watching!
@@SmokyMtFaithFoodFun that’s kool. The reason I asked is we’re pondering buying a cabin for rentals and now we know who we can call to make some videos for us. Also, do you know of any trustworthy people that we might could use for cabin cleaning after each rental?
Everything looked amazing but I'm going with Christy's burger those collard greens yum I've never heard of the brown sugar being put in yum how is that grandbaby and the four legged babies doing love you guys have a great week ❤️😊
Blue cheese on a burger is actually really good. My first time trying it was back in 1982 when I ventured into Yankee land for a college buddies wedding on Long Island. It's all kind of blurry and hazy since I was a young soldier and drinking everything put in front of me. The only thing I remember for certain is the restaurant was near the house from the Amityville Horror and the burger got me hooked on blue cheese for life. Another awesome review!
I'm with Brooks. I am definitely not a Bleu cheese gal. And if the burger is super thick I will cut it, but usually I just dig in 😂 Also -- what a fun little place !! Gunna have to add this to our list for our Arts & Craft Community day
It's a hard no from Christmas Mama on the blue cheese. Christmas Papa loves it😂 I always cut my burger! All the food looks amazing And love the free concert in the background ❤
I love the way you guys actually taste the food and not drown it in ketchup. My friend drove me crazy she loaded EVERYTHING with ketchup. To me that’s all you taste.
Love Blue Cheese, and yes, I always cut my burger in half. I'm doing good to eat half. And I love Swaggertys sausage. So glad we can get it here in Kansas. It'd be a hard choice to make! Just a bowl of those greens and cornbread would probably do me fine!❤
I put this on our list of places to eat at, with a quick run in Olga’s for cinnamon rolls! Here’s an odd question. Do you know if the Gatlinburg trolly goes down to the Timber at the Arts Center? Great video folks. Looking forward to more. Stay safe Bless ya. Geo
Love BC and I, too, cut my burger in half. Howevrr I'm strictly a cheddar cheese mustard, pickled, bacon kind of burger lover What a cute and fun place! 😊
Another great review guys. Good to see yall. All looked great. Dont know about the collard greens. Tracie said she's gonna get me to try em one of these days..lol. are they open in January?
I DO NOT LIKE BLUE CHEESE IN A HOUSE. I DO NOT LIKE BLUE CHEESE WITH A MOUSE. I DO NOT LIKE BLUE CHEESE HERE OR THERE. I DO NOT LIKE BLUE CHEESE ANYWHERE. 😊 *Love your videos
Brookes and Christie, I have been watching your vlogs now for about 2 months. I have loved them especially the one where Christie came to the Irondale Cafe aka Whistle Stop. I am from Ala and I went from 1st grade to the 9th grade at Irondale Elem. School. Both of you appear to be good, God loving people. But Im very disappointed because I am a Christian too and I do not believe God would be too happy about me drinking acohol. You may not think there is anything wrong with it a Christian should not drink alcohol. Am I a holier than thou person, absolutely not. Christians should be different than this world. A lot of people watch your show and hear what you profess and they see you on your show witj a drink in your hand. Im sorry if I have offended you. I am truly sorry but I have to stick to my convictions. Drinking and Christians are not supposed to drink.
We understand your convictions and we respect that. As a Christian I am taught that I am not to drink in excess but I haven’t found anywhere in the Scriptures that says I cannot partake at all. I’m taught in the Bible that Jesus first recorded miracle is the turning of water into wine. The wine was part of a celebration. So while we don’t ever drink to excess, I don’t feel that it’s wrong to have the occasional drink. But that is my conviction and mine alone. God bless you and thank you. - Brooks
And I am Christian and agree with everything you have just said. It does not say anywhere having a drink is a sin. HOWEVER. ..judging others is in the bible.... a definite sin. @SmokyMtFaithFoodFun
