The UK has long lost its military might. The days of the "mistress of the seas" have all but passed. They UK cannot stand on its own, hence they always depend on the USA for support. The only way one could threaten England was by amassing a large army in Europe, which is the closest place to England, and land on the island. The problem is that historically most European nations were not large enough to amass such a military force that could take over England, so England went unpunished for quite a while. However, the English knew that if a sufficiently strong hegemonic power emerged in mainland Europe, that power could gather an army large enough to cross the channel or north sea and lay waste to their island. That is why the British were so afraid of Napoleon, who at one point controlled France+Germany+Italy+Spain, that is why they were so afraid of Emperor Wilhelm II's Germany, which was an unified, centralized, growing industrial power, that is why they were afraid of the USSR and modern Russia. They know that an hegemonic force in Europe could threaten them directly.

It makes me think something big might happen. Britain is not only a part of NATO but is one of the few nations on the earth that possesses nuclear weapons like Russia. Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss apparently threatening to use nuclear weapons was talked about on The Jimmy Dore Show.
That would be really sad if uk went to war because many british youth, and probably the poorest, will die, whilst the politician kids will be safe at uni... partying, living their best lives.
Last week the highways were full of military heading to the ports..to head to Europe. Troops from America and UK. Are heading to Poland as normal citizens.. as not to be noticed. They are on their way.. The numbers are lies . They don't have those reserves .. if they do. 40% of them are inexperienced children.
