Last October I went on a 3-week road trip around England, Wales and Scotland. This is what I captured on my travels. Shot on Krasnogorsk-3 using Kodak 250D. Any enquires please email: owjones2000@gmail.com
Every shot is so gorgeous. Every shot could be a painting. I want prints of every shot inside my house. The sound design is a work of art ALONE. I feel like I'm there. Thank you, THANK YOU.
This and Devon on 16mm are two of my favorite pieces of 16mm work on youtube. I always come back to watch these whenever I'm feeling the 16mm itch. Hope you make another one day!
Something about this being shot in Great Britain and also on 16mm film made it feel like a Hammer film... I was half expecting Christopher Lee to pop up. Beautiful work!
This piece of work is absolutely beautiful. Every shot is nothing than perfect. I wish I had more adjectives in mind to describe this piece of work and how it makes me feel. Thanks for sharing Ollie, I mean it!
Man, you can't do this! Keep uploading more content like this! Like buddyg said, every frame is like a paint. Exquisite visual detail. I'm getting one of these cameras!
This is crazy! My dream is to shoot on film. Great job man! Congratulations! Its look like I am watching a great movie from the 60's....keeep it up! Subscribed!
Your are super talented my friend. The rawness, harshness and barrenness of the landscape you capture really hits somewhere deep within. It makes me embrace being British and the beauty within our incredible and unique landscape. I look forward to seeing more of what you create and share with the world. Kudos. Also I don't have instagram so I cannot see any more of your work. Have you considered starting a website portfolio where everyone can see your work?
Beautiful! As a filmmaker used to shooting digitally, I’m seriously considering trying out 16mm (I live in Scotland too, so lots of great subject matter as this video proves!).
How much of this is color correction in post? Everything was done with just the K-3 and stock lens? Point and shoot? It's crazy how you can get such insane footage from that machine just by measuring the light and shooting
@@OllieJones is this Super16 Gate? Just wondering if there is a vignette on the Meteor on the wide end while looking through the Standard 16 Viewfinder. Or can the vignette only be seen on the film if any?
@@OllieJones I was hoping someone in the world would have made a 3d printed scanning machine. there are a few items on thingverse like a bed you could use to put on a photo enlarger but just a few more parts and i think we could have a functional machine. i have seen a few interesting attempts on youtube involving old projectors or cameras converted to do scans. great job on getting this out to digital formats looking so nice ! top quality work
