Searching for Top Dead Center doesn't bring their channel up, I don't think that was a very good name for a RU-vid channel. Cool, sure, but not unique or algorithm friendly. - Callum has no plans joining them, saying he's now heading in a different direction, I assume that means no more RU-vid for him, but I could be wrong.
Eddy did you not see the stupid project he wasted a ton of money and time on to drive a toy car on a fake track? The one that will never happen? It takes money to make these and the money comes from good content. They were making the money, this whole thing was just mismanaged.
Everyone has their own lives. Callum Is married and in his own racing series so doesn't have time for any of this and will is getting married and moved house so is no longer near them.
Lmao they did this 100% to themselves by managing money and expectations entirely the wrong way. They had a dynamic trio, almost akin to the top gear days, bantering away. They could've taken it slow, see where they where headed, instead they gambled, threw away tons of money on track days and expensive cars. It's honestly so sad to see this production be a shell of it's former self. Consider myself unsubbed untill you've brought back the crew and figured out how to make it work. But that's not going to happen after this drama.
@@daveblock4061 You can, with the rover k-series. Its a much lighter, revvier engine that fits much better with the idea of the elise. The lotus ones don't suffer with the head gaskets so much either, but even if they do go, once the new uprated ones are in its a reliable, simple little engine.

Driver61 is motorsport and Overdrive is just general automotive. Similar style content but different topics. RU-vid likes to pigeon hold channels to one specific topic. Two channels can be the better route. Yes Overdrive used to do funny builds and challenges but it didn't work out financially so now they do this type of content.
Im sorry. I loved the previous stuff and i understand that this is a buisness and it need to be worth while doing but these videos dont have the same impact and dont have me wanting to come back and for more. Sorry but bring back the trio.

Pre facelift Multiplas have been driven to extinction, they weren't very numerous to begin with, and with the ugliest car of the world award definitely a becoming classic. Despite the opinions on looks, it was a really fun driving car, based on the bravo I think.
Nice selection ; i do miss those really light-weight nibble cars, that were just about fun ! Reg. the departure from the trio-concept : trying to do ' Top Gear ' without the depth of rescources of a big production and then being a bit too much all other the place with trying to do everything at once, with all the extra costs of fuel, possibly reimbursing people, time, equipment, insurance, repairs, paying for components etc while trying to stay on top of the RU-vid-algorithm churning out videos non-stop ... is going to be difficult, plus any challenges and decisions in their personal lives. And now even the original TopGear is coming to an end, so there might be some audience-fatigue or at least just no longer the profit possible, that it makes sense to do lots of real-world challenges, projects etc that incur higher costs. Doing content-videos based on experience and knowledge combined with easy to source material will be a better return-on-investment with limited rescources - hope it works out & maybe there can be a trio-reunion at some point !

FYI, the rover k series isn’t rubbish it’s just badly made. The design was well ahead of its time and big bhp numbers can be got out of it. It’s also light and revvy hence y lotus used it. I’m not preaching but the constant attitude towards it is a strange British only thing - like we hate people who r successful. Over seas it’s quite highly rated by those in the know
Jdm cars don’t need rustproofing. They have better steel and much more aluminum. Have you ever bought one? All the cars and parts I’ve brought in have been clean.
