That looked like a brilliant event ,,, you must have been in your element,,, lovely tour of the sheds,, and great shots and sounds,,,,,, (and some line side details as well ) what a smashing watch many thanks ,,,, Alan
It's interesting, seeing all of these obsolete diesels which have more or less suffered the same fate as their precurors. But obviously, I just don't have the same attachment for boxes on wheels as I do for kettles. Still, I'd be holding a double-standard if I didn't think it was good that these diesels have been preserved.
o , how we slagged those boxes on wheels as we called them at the end of steam ,funny how you adapt ,love that sulzer beat ,effing good vid love your layout ,keep it up ,you are an inspiration !
wow there is some age sitting on those rails ,, must have been a great day out ,,,, I am very surprised at people with there hands and heads out , good thing no one lost anything there , in Canada you be taken off the train right a way , after every one knew why and it was you , just not aloud here ,
The trains on preserved lines are never going fast enough for it to be unsafe, they only do 25mph so its not a high risk, if you did it on a mainline express train im sure you'd be thrown off the train, if you hadn't already lost your head ! Lol
TheLegionist GD not a real one its based on toby from thomas, i think its been sitting in that siding for a number of years, im not sure but i think its a diesel under it
Great video and I cant help thinking about your excellent model railway and your ballast and general track work, it's just like the real thing on this video.
Poopingbotham Indeed. I'm quite pleased to read up about it on their website. When they eventually complete it, I want to ride one of their joint services :D
